The project delivers on its promise – an adventure. During my time here, I met great new people and also Christian showed us the surrounding area and the beautiful natural surroundings. It's definitely a project that requires self-organization! You get freedom and can use it for a variety of projects. It's definitely a nature adventure campsite not a luxary resort

My time at the project was great! We visited amazing beaches and cute coastal towns, even visited the local restaurant with live music. During our stay we tried activities that you don't normally do on a regular holiday. I really enjoyed the freedom we had and the ability to implement our own ideas to make the place even more beautiful. Christian, the host, made sure everyone felt welcome. Living close to nature was different but fun. Even though you don't have all the usual comforts, you get used to it. Be ready for a nice change to your usual routine!

We had an amazing time at the project! Everyday was different and you really get to see amazing places, learn and experience things that you wouldn't just traveling. You have to be open minded and ready to live in nature. There are some facilities that you won't have, but you get used to it and even appreciate it. In this project you will meet people from all over the world, also locals, and make new friends. Christian was a great host and will always try to make sure you have a good time Even tho it is still under construction, it is already better than Disneyland!

I enjoyed my time at the project a lot! We got to explore beaches, beautiful nature areas and other nature based projects and meet lovely locals that are friends of Christian's. He really makes sure you can experience Sicily as more than “just a tourist” and every day was a new adventure :) The accommodations are very nature based but I was able to really appreciate the small things again and to slow down, e.g. while cooking over the campfire. So if you love connecting with nature and open minded people from around the world this is a great place for you and I can only recommend it!

I had an amazing time at the project. The tasks vary, depending on the weather and the season, from gardening, construction, cooking meals, animal care and sometimes helping with few tasks for the neighbours. It's a beautiful property with orange trees, a nice garden and up the project many olive trees. The walk to the lonely beach is well worth it on a day off. All over all I had a good time and will come again one day. :)

This project is very much about communication and sincerity. Two statements that summarise the project. 1. Do what you want, don't do what you don't want. 2. Say what you want, and say what you don't want This is magnificent, because people here don't need to pretend, like they do in cities. If you know what you want, Christian is happy to help you to do it or get there. Otherwise he knows the best places on Sicily. Christian is doing the project for 15 years now, and has many Sicilian friends. You can experience Sicily not as a tourist, but like a Sicilian rather than a typical tourist.

The place is incredible and if you like nature that's the place for you. Christian will make sure you visit the beaches around and the lovely locals as well. Sunsets are pretty incredible around that area. If you don't like to wake up a bit early and help with social tasks that's not the place for you. That's a place to live with people as a community and help whenever you can. It's into the nature so don't expect any luxury facilities (besides all the nature you can see).

I had an amazing time at the project in the Heart of sicily! Christian the Host is super kind, fair and respectful. He showed and explained so many interesting things about Sicily and the local life. The nature is breathtaking and its an awesome place to explore adventures and take a pause from the fast modern life. Thanks for the amazing time! Grazie a la Sicilia! Greetings Paul

The project is such a special place. I loved my time in Sicily and, even though I only spent one week at the project, I could see its great potential. I would've liked to have more time to hang out with Christian, but I can say that he strives to include everybody and for all to have a good time and experience. Thank you for everything!

Eco-Adventure was my first work exchange and it was a memorable experience. I was lucky to be there with a great group of volunteers who showed me the ropes of camp life. Christian was good about showing us unique local experiences. Before my arrival I was under the impression there would be more opportunity to learn hands-on skills however Christian was quite busy so I recommend this for people who already have aligned experience otherwise it can be difficult to fully contribute. There was a lack of system at camp so most work was planning meals and trying to maintain an organized routine.
