The experience

Your main tasks will include building fences and maintaining the water supply for our animals.

In the spring you might have the chance to drive tractors on the field as there are some easy work.

We value careful, steady driving—it's all about getting the task done right without breaking anything.


What you offer

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Activities & Shift

The shift is according to the weather, if it rains there are no field work and if it is going to rain tomorrow you will work the whole day, still you work on average 25 hours a week as a volunteer. You should also contribute to keep the house where you live clean, this work is done outside the 25 hours. Practically you need to do 20 minutes daily cleaning tasks as vacuum the floors and clean the bathroom because you are living in the house, it is not a hotel.


Rules

Driving license and experience of machines or a very calm and careful car driving style. It is all about not damage anything. It does not matter if you drive half the speed of a very experienced driver as long there is no stop due to a fault.

I am sad to need to specify these rules.
1 The volunteer should clean their own room to the same standard as a clean hotel room when they leave so that it is ready for the next volunteer. Hello you are still here until you are on the bus. You are not leaving when you book your ticket.

2. During your stay you need to tidy up after yourself. Of course you should not leave your dishes and your food in the common kitchen but to have a zero impact you also need to spend 20 minutes every day on cleaning common areas.
