The experience

Luxury Retreat Style, Family operated Hobby Farm. We practice organic methods, with an interest in organic, sustainable & eco principles - solar electricity, filtered rainwater & waste systems, so you'll learn about living sustainably. We will be building annArt Studio Aircrete Dome this year an will welcome help during this project which is community based

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 59 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

European Union Passport

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Volunteers are provided food & accommodation in exchange for 5 hours of work for 5 days then 2 days off being Saturday & Sunday, with a minimum of one week stay.

Activities & Shift

Schedule:

Work Hours Monday - Friday 8 - 10:30am, Break 30 mins, 11 -1:30pm. (5 hrs/day)
Saturday & Sunday : Free Days.

We currently are looking for volunteers to support gardening & odd jobs on the farm. Bring good foot wear for acreage, hat, sunscreen & a coat for wet conditions (it’s usually sunny though).

Rules

We are looking for help from people preferably already in Australia, who have very good English. We love people who will have a go at everything, work hard, & have a positive attitude.
