Lynn was a wonderful host and it was a real pleasure to stay. The hours and work were flexible and it was lovely to have a real impact on the project. We painted her decking and got started clearing the garden. It was nice to have a social aspect with multiple volunteers staying together and Lynn made some great suggestions of what we could do together, including a local comedy night! It's an experience I won't forget and one I'd recommend to anyone looking for the real blue mountains experience.

My time at Lynn's place was so fun. Not only was it a gorgeous BnB in the heart of Katoomba but the experience gave me the chance to meet people who I know I will stay friend with long term 🤩. We mainly did work on the garden (oiling the decking and jetwashing etc) but the timing of this was very flexible and we got plenty of time off to go and explore or relax. Lynn also bought us a huge shop worth of food for us to cook meals when we were there and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. She is a lovely woman and an excellent host.

This was an amazing experience! Lynn was so welcoming when she showed us our accommodation which was a beautifully clean and decorated BnB (nextdoor to Lynns house). We had everything we could possibly need for a week's stay! We stayed at the same time as other travellers making it really social as you get to know each other so well (we ended up travelling a bit with somebody we met here). We were informed well on work that was needed doing and hours were stuck to allowing us to enjoy all Katoomba had to offer. Got to meet locals and feel part of the town (shout out to Penny). Loved it!
