Helping at Language Cafe in Busan!

I had a really good time at Lancul. The work was fun and easy. The location of the dorm was good, a little far from the city but still close to restaurants, convenience stores, and the metro. The people in the dorm were very kind and welcoming and Diana runs the place well. The dorm rooms were satisfactory, but not great. Top bunks have no privacy curtains or protection from light, and no powerpoint. Also, the beds are a bit hard and the pillows well worn. This area could use attention. I had a very good time here, and with a few small improvements this place will be magnificent!

I stayed at LanCul in Busan for six weeks for my first-ever volunteering experience, and it was fantastic! The work is very easy and straightforward, with super chill working hours, making it perfect for first-timers. The dorm is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Andy, the host, is amazing—very supportive and quick to resolve any issues, like one I had with another volunteer. His handling of the situation was impressive. If you're in Busan and want to volunteer, I highly recommend LanCul!

Volunteering at Andy's the coliving cultural the coliving project has been one of the best experiences I have been through. As it was my first time doing so through Worldpackers I can say that my experience there for 1 month was perfect for getting to know both locals and other volunteers from around the world. Andy is also a very kind host who is open to communication and will work around your schedule if need be to insure everyone has time off to explore the city. The location is in good distance for exploring and the cafe is within easy walking distance from the dorm. I will for sure come back!

I volunteered here for 2 weeks and had a great experience! The work is not difficult (just be prepared to talk a lot), and the location is very convenient. The accommodation provided is decent, organized, and spacious. Above all, Andy is an amazing host. He is very responsive, flexible and understanding. I had some issues during my stay, and he took my concerns very seriously and quickly took action to fix the situation. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Busan for a while!

This was my first volunteer and was an incredible experience. The city and people of Busan are super friendly, so you will feel at home. The job is an amazing opportunity to dive into local culture and share experiences with a wide range of personalities.

Volunteering at LanCul was an amazing first experience! I met volunteers from around the world, exchanged insights, and engaged with locals through conversation classes. It was truly enriching. The accommodation is basic but functional, with all essentials provided. Volunteers handle weekly cleaning, each assigned to a room. The area is lively, near Pusan University, with plenty of shops and restaurants. A subway station nearby takes you to hotspots in 40-60 minutes. Busan is a beautiful city, combining mountains, beaches, nature, and the vibrancy. I definitely recommend LanCul!

I had a wonderful experience working at LanCul. The other volunteers were lovely, Andy is easy going and accommodating if you need a schedule change. He sends out the schedule every weekend for the upcoming week. The language cafe is about a six minute walk from the dorm, and the dorm is close to convenience stores, super markets and more (it's near PNU). You can get downtown very easily with the subway and explore surrounding areas. The people that come to the cafe are very nice & diverse in age & experience, from young kids to retired adults practicing their English in order to travel.
