The experience
Cheerful and reliable dog lovers welcome! You will help me with daily tasks of keeping the house clean & tidy, general maintenance, dog care, basic gardening. Opportunities to help my husband on diy projects.

Program Details
You will live as part of our family. We offer a comfortable room with en suite shower and toilet (single bed, twin beds or large double bed, depending on needs)
We prepare & eat our meals together, breakfast is cereal/toast, lunch a light meal such as soup/sandwiches and we eat our main meal together in the evening. If you are not happy to fit in with this routine then we are not the best hosts for you!
We eat meat, but happily cater for vegetarians. Please let me know about any dietary needs or preferences when you first contact me . We enjoy sampling foods from other countries so you will always be welcome to share your favourite dishes with us and assist in daily meal preparation.
We expect people to participate as family members, helping prepare and clear up after meals, laying the table, generally keeping the house clean and tidy and assisting with whatever needs doing on the day.
Activities & Shift
Next availability 24 August - 10/11 September
We generally ask for 5 hours a day, 5 days per week. Meal preparation and clearing up is not included in this as we all have to eat and these are normal parts of everyone's daily life. The day starts with breakfast around 8 am and all activities are interspersed with plenty of tea and coffee breaks.
Generally we expect 3- 4 hours in the morning and the other 1-2 in the afternoon. We try to be as flexible as possible and hope you will be too.
Days off are generally Saturday and Sunday (very occasionally we may ask you to change these if one of us needs to do something on one of these weekend days)
Rules
We are a non smoking household and only accept non smokers. Please do not apply if you use drugs or consume excessive quantities of alcohol.
We will not permit you to bring people we do not know into our house.
