The experience

Volunteers are expected to look after pets, give a hand with tasks in the house ( we rent a 2 bedroom apartment short terms) and have English or Spanish lessons/conversation with us.
Times are flexible. Meals are shared or self prepared depending on the family routine.

We offer a homestay in a pretty village in northern Italy, near the Swiss border.
We can also offer guitar lessons.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Times are not fixed. We will agree a weekly schedule according to our needs as well as the volunteer travel plans or free time.

Activities & Shift

Keeping private and shared spaces clean and tidy is a basic rule
Activities include general duties ( jobs in the house, gardening, pet caring, welcoming guests in the apartment we rent)…English/Spanish conversation and other activities the volunteer might be willing to offer.
