The experience

I am looking for an independent worker(s) to help with some lime plastering at my house. You will need to be experienced and know what you are doing.

I have a small child at home with me. He requires most of my attention, so I need someone with independence. I can host a solo traveler or friends/couples.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

I am looking for a volunteer who is experienced with lime plastering. My house is about 140 years old and am sympathetically restoring it.

Activities & Shift

I know lime plastering is not completed in set times due the temperature and the weather. You will work 25 hours per week. I have no preference how you complete the hours.

Rules

There is absolutely no smoking allowed inside the house. There is an area outside that you may use.
Please keep all perishable foods out of the bedroom.
I will give you a clean room to use during your stay. When you leave, I would like you to return the room clean and with clean bedding (which I provide). I would àlso like for you to empty your trash bin regularly. During your stay, I have clean towels, laundry detergent and basic toiletries available.
Due to my house being old, the windows need to be opened daily to allow fresh air inside the house. I ask that when you are out of your room working, you leave your window open.
