I really enjoyed my time at the hostel Seattle. The hostel always had some type of events or opportunities to meet new people happening. The work is as expected, with plenty of off time for exploring nature and the city. If you're looking for the opportunity to meet new people, have a good time, enjoy the vibrant night life in the city, while also having access to the beautiful nature and forests of Washington State, I recommend the hostel.

Working at the hostel Tortise was fun & convenient! Everyone there was very friendly and easy going, the accommodations were amazing, and the work was pretty easy. The location made it easy for me to go snowboarding, hiking and backpacking on my days off and also take part in some events in Seattle. A few of my favorite things about the hostel Tortise include the amazing management staff (Milton, Haru, Torin & Tiggy all do an amazing job at supporting their staff and keeping things going smoothly), people watching out the windows at Pike Place Market & the rain shower heads.

Working at the hostel was a great experience! As someone who had never worked at a hostel before I was a bit nervous going in, but Milton and Cassandra were very thorough in their training and helpful in answering any questions I had. Once you get past the hurdle of training, the work is very easy: cleaning, mopping/sweeping, bathroom duties (pun intended, haha), and such. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the staff and fellow hostel workers were very welcoming and kind. I would definitely look into staying/working here again when I return to Seattle!
