The Experience

Knowledge of Carpentry and Plumbing are always appreciated. Car mechanics are always helpful. I would really appreciate someone who can do handyman jobs I sell things online and on eBay and would love someone who is good at writing descriptions in English.

Staying with Barbara and Ali was such a lucky experience as they were so nice persons. I used her bike to go to the home almost every day, and she even allowed me to stay longer as I had a time delay with my next Host. It was a very funny time and I felt home at her place.

I loved my time with Barbara. I felt tears developing as I left the place that I can now call my second home. I am so lucky to have met Barbara and learnt so much from her. One hour of conversation taught me so much and meeting her will definitely be a life changing experience for anyone. I felt like a family member and was welcomed with warmth and open arms. I hope to meet this beautiful soul again very soon. There are very few people who come into your life and change it forever. Barbara is one of them.

Bárbara is more than a host, she is a friend, someone very special and patient. A friend for the rest of your life. With Bárbara you end up having a charming and connected experience. You will learn a lot about food and explore different cuisines. She is clearly one of the kindest people I have ever met.

Had a lovely few weeks getting to know New York and Barbara. She's an incredibly interesting person with plenty of stories and knowledge to share. My time here has been enjoyable and fulfilling, I definitely recommend Barbara's exchange.
