It was incredible to have this experience during onemonth. The staff is super friendly, the hostel has a great vibe and the benefits offered by the host are great!! Everyone treated me very well and I had the opportunity to make friends.. I already miss it and hope to return one day <3 Thank you guys!!

This is a great volunteer opportunity if you like busy city life (especially nightlife!). The hours and tasks were exactly as promised. All the included benefits like meals and laundry make it a great position to save money. There are so many volunteers and staff who are super friendly so easy to make friends! You stay off-site at the volunteer homestay (3 mins walk from hostel). The only negative I would point out is the volunteer dorm is pretty messy and cramped, but this could be easily fixed with some small improvements. Thanks to Michael, Sam and everyone else for a great experience!!

I had the best time at the hostel! It was my first volunteer experience and it was truly incredible. All the volunteers made me feel so welcome, and my hours were fun and flexible. I made some great friends and loved exploring the hostel and areas around during my time off…would definitely recommend this experience

I loved my time at the hostel! This is a great volunteer opportunity to be social and meet lots of other international travelers. The other volunteers, managers, and owners are great & work hours are respected and as agreed upon. I would recommend this experience to anyone who likes a fun, social environment in a busy city. :)

Couldn't expect anything better from this experience. I was a bartender at the hostel and it was so much fun. The job is easy to pick up and you learn a bunch about making cocktails and being efficient with the drinks and clients. The homestay could be a bit overwhelming at first but if all the volunteers help out to organize it a bit, it's not as bad. The managers are great and they will give you enough time to do the loop and other trips around Vietnam.

I really enjoyed my stay at the the hostel! I met wonderful people among the volunteers, the work at reception is pleasant and the atmosphere at the hostel is really great! The team is nice and friendly, the schedule is flexible enough to explore northern Vietnam, and there are many benefits. I couldn't recommend this volunteering more to share a good time and live in the heart of the beautiful city of the hostel!

This is a great social volunteer to be right in the city and with many other travellers. The staff is great and you'll grow close living and working together. The hours are very well agreed upon and the scheduling is very flexible. It was great to be able to volunteer and still have time to explore the north of Vietnam. You'll share a living space apart from the hostel with lots of volunteers from all over the world and easily enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. This is a great volunteer for anyone looking to make lots of friends and be a part of the huge backpacking scene of Vietnam

Wonderful place to volunteer! Everyone on staff is kind and welcoming, and the owner Michael is great. I had plenty of time to explore the hostel and other areas of northern Vietnam during my stay and met many locals and travelers. I recommend this hostel to any traveler and hope to be back soon.

Great team environment as you all live and work together, it's almost impossible not to make friends! The schedule was very flexible and we were allowed time off for trips to Sapa, Ha long Bay, Ninh Binh and Ha Giang Loop. Great spot as you're right on beer street but you get to know the area better as a whole and appreciate the hostel as a whole. Breakfast was amazing if I got up on time (finished at 10am) and lunch and dinner was ok, not a lot of vegi options but grateful to have something. Overall I would definitely reccomend and would go back in a heartbeat.

I stayed for only 4 days because the hours in the hostel weren't for me. It's perfect for night owls but I left purely because of the hours. Everything else is really good here and you will feel welcomed by Austin and the other volunteers
