Farm stay with horses and wildlife in Kenya
The experience
Help needed for private horse yard with five horses, in a wildlife conservation area one hours drive outside of Nairobi, Kenya, in open beautiful savanna landscape with plenty of zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles and more. Work consists of general home/animals/garden assistance and horse duties along with potential opportunity to be exposed to environmental and wildlife conservation work.

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:

Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.

We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details
Help needed for private horse yard with five competition horses, in Maanzoni wildlife conservation area one hours drive outside of Nairobi, Kenya, in open beautiful savanna landscape with plenty of zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, gazelles and more. Hosts are a Swedish/French UN worker couple who travel much for work, thus need another set of hands and eyes on site. Tasks consists of general home support and horse related duties along with. Great opportunity for the wilderness lover or sports enthusiast. Access to 25m pool on site, great environment for walking, running, cycling or rock climbing.
Activities & Shift
General yard work approximately 4 hours daily, helping with various practical or supervision activities related to the home, yard, horse or other animals on site, some riding of horses (english riding style) according to ability. Weekends mostly free and very flexible arrangements regarding time off or travel.
Rules
Free accommodation in private self contained guest cottage with kitchenette. Food supplies are provided for own cooking. Some meals eaten with host. Generally minimum 2 months stays. Driving licence needed. Advanced horse care and riding skills required.
