The experience at the farm was everything I could hope for. Pi Nan and Noriko are among the kindest persons I've ever met. He goes the extra mile to serve people and make everyone happy. The work isn't hard but you can definitely work harder if you want. Pi Nan often delivers Buddhist teachings in the evening and, for the bald ones, you can da silent/meditation retreat just behind the farm for as long as you want. Obviously part of the experience depends on the other volunteers and, in general, at the farm they're kind-hearted and open-minded. Totally recommended.

I really loved my time at the farm! Pinan and Noriko are kind and open people. The work was great, we worked only 3-4 hours after breakfast. After lunch we had free time. Sadly Pinan had a lot of commitments in the neighbourhood due to deaths and could not be there in the evening that much. So we did not get a lot of Buddhist lessons from him, but the stuff we learned was really great.

I do feel that it is a beautiful place, and the experience can be really valuable. We were sad to leave sooner than planned, but more really does need to be done for security. There are honestly a lot of pros and cons of this experience, but for me overall, if me and my partner were able to feel safe, we would have stayed. I would advise checking google reviews as well as the worldpackers ones to make an informed decision, as they were drastically different.

I stayed there for one week and when I arrived, I felt not so welcomed but lucky I was not alone as a Volunteering there. My room was nice, but it was mold everywhere and I couldn't lock the doors and the toilet was a Thai toilet so nothing to sit on, so I was not prepared for it. The hygienic was really bad so they didn't wash their hands or sometimes the food before they prepared the food and sometimes the food was good, but sometimes was not that good.

The farm was a great place to learn about sustainable farming methods and Pi Nan was a great teacher. He was very flexible with the amount of volunteering required and so we were able to work as and when we wished to. I would recommend this experience to people travelling as a group more so than solo travellers, due to some safety concerns encountered during our stay and after reading some of the Google reviews, which led us to leave earlier than planned.

Pi Nan was very understanding and flexible with the workload — you only work when you feel like it. It's a great place to slow down, enjoy nature, and take a break from the city. My main concern was safety: some doors didn't lock and a few windows didn't have curtains. One night me and the other volunteers heard footsteps around the rooms and didn't feel safe, so we decided to leave early. Pi Nan was still very kind and helped arrange a ride back to Chiang Mai. It's a lovely place with a lot of potential, but adding proper locks and curtains would help volunteers feel much safer at night.

Pi Nan and Noriko are amazing people, I felt welcome from first minute at the farm. During my stay our main project was building a mud house, but I've also had a chance to meet and work with local community. We did some garden works as all, so everyone could find a place and role in this community for themselves. I truly enjoyed my time in the kitchen, because we were preparing our meals together, cooking on fire with fresh products from the farm. Pi Nan shared his knowledge about Buddhism and life with everyone interested. Amazing experience of simpler life around nature :)

For me the farm was a memorable experience. At first I felt a bit out of my comfort zone with the natural accommodation and the physical work (building a mud house at the time). But thanks to the amazing people there and Pinans understanding work culture I was able to settle in and have a great time. I ended up having lots of fun in the mud, cooking together, listening to Pinan teach Buddhism, going to the lake, singing to Pitumps music and much more.
