The overall experience was good due to the other workers we met & being around animals on a beautiful farm. This was a great opportunity to be in nature, ride, take a step back, & learn about yourself. However, this listing is overall inaccurate. There was no “training youngsters” involved. Be prepared to buy some of your own groceries to supplement the food provided to be full. With full transparency, we experienced difficulties with the host-Enrique is a poor communicator who lacks general manners & often made things uncomfortable with the other workers as well. It's what you make it!

Dear Emily.

You will never forgive that you couldn't lead the trail rides. Training youngsters? Did you really want to train youngsters?

The first day you rode here, a 14 yo calm mare, you fell on the walk, not even troting!!. The next day you were not able to make the calmest mare we have in the stable trot!! Did you really want to ride a 4 yo stallion that has never been ridden? You even sent me messages saying how bad you felt for not showing how good rider you were!! Training youngsters? We really need help in training youngsters, but you were not the person to help on that. The other things you did, you did it well !!

And in case you don't know, if the person of the four of you in charge of cooking only prepares lentil burgers to eat, it's easy to stay hungry. She is responsible for not preparing consistent things and she is the one who made us the shopping list. And in any case, why didn' you tell me during your stay? why after you leave?

I also hope that the wine and peanut butter you bought is not part of what you expected to have here.!!

Esta fue mi primera experiencia como voluntaria, pasé unos días hermosos, conecté con los animales y la naturaleza. Esther y Enrique son muy buenas personas, durante mi estancia me sentí muy cómoda, además fueron atentos conmigo, me dieron mis días libres para conocer la feria de Sevilla, la feria de Jerez y también algunos días en Málaga. Además, hice amistades con los chicos que trabajan allí y con voluntarias que llegaron después de mi. Volvería sin duda de nuevo a la finca. Nuevamente, gracias por la oportunidad, realmente la pasé muy bien.☺️✨

Solo tengo cosas buenas que decir de mi paso por este voluntariado. Desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir cómodo, como de la familia, tanto Ester como Enrique me han tratado con un cariño y con un respeto inmenso. Las tareas fueron claras desde el principio. Se respetaron los días de descanso e incluso algún día más si lo necesitabas . Las comidas abundantes variadas y deliciosas.El lugar es precioso e invita a quedarse más de unas pocas semanas, en cuanto llegas te enamoran los paisajes y la conexión que se da con los animales de todo tipo. Recomiendo y volvería sin dudarlo. ❤️❤️❤️

I have no words to describe this wonderful experience, I am grateful for having chosen this place for my first volunteering. Thanks to Enrique and Esther for giving me their home, support and friendship. I 100% recommend this place, if you want to disconnect from the noise, the city, enjoy the countryside, and eat delicious Spanish food made with love, come here! Mejoré mi inglés, aprendí a cocinar recetas españolas, visité las distintas ferias y lugares del área, aprendí sobre caballos y sin duda, mi pequeñín Quique fue lo mejor! Conocer a Enrique y a toda su familia ha sido una experiencia increíble. Me he sentido parte de la familia y se han ocupado de que así sea. Me abrieron las puertas de su hogar para recibirme en mi primera experiencia como worldpacker, y por lejos han superado mis expectativas. Quiero agradecer el tiempo que estuve ahí. Desde el primer dia te sentís como de la casa y de la familia. Todo espectacular desde las instalaciones hasta las comidas excelentes. Volvería sin dudarlo. Las tareas son simples para dos voluntarios se resuelven bien y en equipo mucho mejor. En la mitad de mi estadía fuimos tres asique super liviano y se podía avanzar más en otras tareas. Clave estar siempre comunicado con el anfitrión y preguntar todo ante la duda. Gracias Marilu, Ester y Enrique.

La verdad es que venir a este sitio ha sido una de las mejores ideas que he tenido nunca, si no es la mejor el sitio está en una ubicación súper privilegiada, lo cual hace que la finca esté en un lugar súper bonito, he tenido la oportunidad de estar de lleno en contacto con caballos y sumergirme un poco más en este fantástico mundillo, he tenido la oportunidad de practicar mi inglés también, el viaje me ha ayudado a conocer un poco mejor andalucía, que la verdad es que es preciosa, y la relación con todas las personas de allí en general muy buena, me llevo amigos de por vida
