What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Amount: US$ 32 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers pay USD 40/day for three meals, bed tea, private air conditioned ranch accommodation, plus linen and laundry. USD 32/day for three meals, bed tea, private non air conditioned ranch accommodation, plus linen and laundry.

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 20 and 55 years old

Program Details

This position is designed for individuals with experience and skills in digital media, photography/videography, SEO, content writing, and related fields. As part of our horsemanship-based signature riding holiday business, your role will be to:
• Develop and promote our brand
• Enhance our online and visual presence
• Contribute to improving the signature experience offered to our guests

You’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills in a real-world setting while enjoying the unique environment of our ranch, working alongside a passionate team, and being part of creating memorable equestrian experiences for our clientele.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers in this position will help enhance our digital media presence, create photo and video content, and contribute to building an effective online presence. You’ll also have opportunities to assist with website development and other digital projects.

In addition to digital work, you can participate in trail rides, campsite reconnaissance, bush walks, and other ranch and equestrian activities.

We encourage volunteers to propose and design their own shifts to fit their skills and interests, and you are always welcome to enjoy our facilities during your free time.

Rules

1. Privacy: Volunteers and ranch staff should not share personal contact details or social media with each other.
2. Accommodation boundaries: Staff may not enter volunteer quarters, and volunteers may not enter staff accommodations or restricted operational areas.
3. Meals: Meals should be eaten in the designated dining area at the following times:
• Breakfast: 08:30
• Lunch: 12:30
• Dinner: 19:30
4. Snacks & treats: Our kitchen offers items such as organic potato fries, wraps, fruit salad, ice cream, and beer at a nominal fee.
5. No smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside roofed areas or accommodations.
6. Payment: Program fees are due upon arrival. Accepted payment methods: USD, LKR cash, or credit card.
7. Respect operations: Volunteers must not interfere with ranch management or staff operations.
