Working at Mel's farm is a truly rewarding experience. The work can be tough at times, but nothing unmanageable at all. The accommodations are very comfortable, and you get to choose when you work. Mel is a warm and welcoming host, every conversation I had with him was a pleasant one. He even provides clothes to work in so you don't dirty your own. All in all, I would highly recommend this experience to those who want to learn more about the farm lifestyle, love nature, and don't mind getting a little dirty.

This was my first ever experience volunteering, amd it was amazing. Ever since from the first message Mel is an amazing host that will always be friendly and make you feel welcome. The work sometimes was a bit monotonous, but it is perfect to gain real experience on the everyday life of having cows. The conditions were good, although, due to the presence of many cats, that are only in a certain part of the house, it sometimes could get a bit messy there, and not good for those with allergies. Other than that, it os an absolutely unique experience!

Responsible with food. Varied food. Volunteer schedules are respected. There is not Wifi. It is a bit far from the urban area and there is nothing to go there with. There is no heating. There are many animals, if you suffer from allergies, keep this in mind. The subject does not socialize much, but is respectful.

If you want to be connected with nature,animals and a rural place, the farm's farm is what you needed!! All was like we were expecting, tasks were sometimes hard but ok too. The house is nice and heated by a wood stove, we slept very well and food was simply great (everything organic from the vegetable garden) and you have many choices, you won't be hungry. About Mel he is very kind and a very cheese master! Making ricotta was just amazing and interesting!! Grazie e alla prossima!

The farm foi uma ótima experiência . Os voluntários tem o piso superior da casa, pra ficar a vontade. Mel, oferece uma boa estrutura, providencia tudo que seja necessário, para o dia a dia . A dispensa sempre tem comida, para que os voluntários cozinharem. Mel é um anfitrião muito tranquilo, te deixa a vontade para desenvolver o seu trabalho, fazer seus horários , muito respeitoso e paciente para explicar as tarefas, pedir algo. Tem em mente que a maior parte do trabalho , como já esta na descrição é físico , mas não é nada de outro mundo, esteja disposto a se sujar um pouco .

Uffff que puedo decir MEL es una excelente persona un poco apurado si, por las tantas actividades que tiene que realizar a diario. Pero sobretodo un gran ser humano preocupado por la agricultura y la ganadería. Nos divertimos mucho con Ariel de argentina y Anderson de Brasil. 3 latinos compartiendo en cada día risas, platillos exquisitos que cada uno aportaba y sobretodo una gran unión entre las actividades que realizábamos. Sin duda volvería fueron días de mucho aprendizaje. Gracias mel, gracias muchachos. 😊😄😉👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇵🇪🇪🇸🇮🇹🇦🇷🇧🇷

Si quieres desconectarte del mundo, conectarte con la naturaleza y tener un excelente lugar de meditar y trabajar aquí es el lugar. Mel que es el anfitrión siempre está atento a todo y es una persona muy amable y atenta. 100% recomendado.

Buena experiencia. Muy recomendable. La comida es buena. El segundo piso de la casa es para los voluntarios y es cómodo. Y Mel (el anfitrión) es buena gente y muy razonable. Llevo tres meses aquí y me quedaré algún tiempo más.
