The experience at the community has been magnificent. Fili&Trente are exceptional people with a big heart and immense joy of life. The location is a corner of paradise, completely surrounded by nature, with views of Taormina and Calabria on one side and Etna on the other. Here you breathe peace and serenity and positive energies, thanks for all.

My experience at Ater Tumti was amazing. I had The opportunity to participate in holistic events and it was gratifying to be able to have all these experiences. Trente and Filip are adorable and super special human beings. I hope to come back as soon as possible. The place is also super special and you will definitely feel at home, it is a little far from everything so it would be better to have a car. but other than that, the experience is highly recommended for anyone who is open to new life experiences and sensations

Beautiful place to learn about yourself. Nice accomodation, warm water, fresh local fruits and veggies. Sometimes it was confusing to receive instructions from different people and to understand what they wanted me to do. It's surely not a bad thing but you have to be open to adapt to their specific requirements and to communicate directly. They are really kind and peaceful people. When problems arise they deal with acceptance, honesty and openness which I really liked. :) When I stayed for a few days as the only workawayer I found the chores to do in the house a bit overwhelming(bad timing)

Trente and Filip were the most welcoming and kind hosts. The food was beyond delicious. I am grateful that they gave us the trust and flexibility to determine our own working hours. Only issue was a bit of miscommunication with one of the ladies living in the community and it seemed to me she would be very harsh for any mistake and assume you were disrespecting her by not listening properly, however usually she was very nice. Overall I hope I would be welcomed to come back again.

The community was truly a home away from home! I stayed longer than I intended! Very kind people in a judgement free space! The property was beautiful! Lots to learn if you are willing! While here I helped Filip with the overall cleaning of the land, gathered lots of wood for firewood, creating fires to clear the land for future trees to be planted, prepared the vineyards for the upcoming harvest season, and cleaned spaces where different types of gatherings were held. My advice is to have a conversation when you first arrive so everyone is on the same page about your specific agreement :)

I spent 3 weeks at Ater Tumti with my boyfriend, and it was a great experience. The tasks were excellent and varied, such as cleaning wine bottles, painting, and tidying accommodations, among others. The place is truly beautiful and has a great connection with nature. The hosts, Filip and Trent, were welcoming and kind. Sara and Salvo are also amazing people! Additionally, we met various volunteers from different places and had a very good time with everyone. It was truly very interesting!

If you like Sicily, an amazing view, holistic thinking, being remote, physical work and a lot of grass mowing ;) this is the place for you. I have learned a lot from everyone. I had a hard time adjusting myself to how remote it is but found my way with it in the end. Every day we did other tasks. Some tasks are really physically demanding so you need to know that you like those kinda jobs, or ask for other tasks. Most of the time Philip told us the tasks the day before. If you work all the hours they don't mind at what times you do it. They take you with them on trips which is amazing!

Filip and Trente were great! If you are willing to learn, they are willing to teach, they have lots of knowledge. If you have questions or concerns, simply just asked as that is the only way they will know how you are feeling. Most communication is done through WhatsApp which can be difficult at times when tasks are not given the day before. I was welcomed with open arms from the minute I arrived. I stayed for 3 weeks during the off-season of harvesting and tourism. If you are not looking to do physical work in an outdoor scenery then I wouldn't recommend applying.

My experience with the community was really good! The region is pleasant, the work can be a little tiring but Filip and Trente are great hosts! It's the perfect place if you want to be away from the big cities and nearer nature!

Fue mi mejor experiencia en general. El lugar es realmente maravilloso, poder disfrutar de la naturaleza y apreciar cada momento en ella, el lugar ideal para desconectarse de la ciudad e rutina. Las instalaciones son perfectas y funciona todo muy bien. Y lo mas importante, Filip es una gran persona en general, muy respetuoso y compañero en caso ser necesario, respeta todos los tiempos y puedes trabajar sin inconvenientes, como todos en la semana se debe trabajar y cada cual lleva su vida/rutina y los fines de semana se disfruta entre todos. Gracias Filip por dejarme ser parte de este lugar :-)
