Program Details

December is a fun time to be in the Dominican Republic. There are parties and fun traditions all over!
It is also the busiest time in our production. We receive a very high number of orders during this season, and we need all the help we can get with the different parts of our operation. Sometimes the work can become intense, so be aware that we will sometimes work under pressure and on tight schedules.

You will be able to enjoy your time in the evenings and at night. On weekends, you will also have the day to relax and visit the beach and other points of interest. When we are not busy with our businesses, we love to go out to the Zona Colonial and other fun places, you are always welcome to join us.

You will be sharing a room/areas with other Worldpackers volunteers and you will be working together in some areas.

Activities & Shift

We need help covering some areas of production while I'm working. Your shift will depend on demand for the day. Some days I'll need more help in the morning, some days at night. Some days during the season, we might need to work all day! But I promise we will have fun, and we'll make up for any overtime worked!

You will work alongside other volunteers in photography, marketing, and keeping social media up to date.

Possible activities can include (but are not limited to):
-Collaborate with other volunteers in different areas
-Packaging products
-Preparing orders
-Production area set-up/clean-up
- Contacting customers for order pick-up
- Ordering and tracking delivery for customers
- Ordering or picking up extra materials for production.
