The experience

Reception position requires to be fluent in Spanish and English.
We are a pet-friendly hostel, and also we are proudly LGBTQ+, we want to create a space where everyone feels part of it and respected.

We ask for 5 days work, 2 days off. 5 hours per day. Reception includes also some general cleaning and feeding our dogs pepe and piña.

We are looking for responsible, proactive, easygoing people who wants to be part of our hostel family.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Requirements

Fluent English and Fluent Spanish

Between 20 and 61 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

RECEPTION: CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT FROM GUESTS
TAKING CALLS, MAKING RESERVATIONS, REPLYING GUESTS MESSAGES ON OUR PLATFORMS AND SOCIAL MEDIA, REPLYING EMAILS.

CLEANING DUTIES: EMPTY TRASH CANS FROM KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS, CLEANING THE BATHROOMS SOME DAYS, KEEP THE COMMON AREAS ORGANIZED.

IF YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING CLEANING, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. IN THIS HOSTEL, WE ALL DO SOME CLEANING.
