Incredible experience in the hostel. It is a really magical place, every sunrise is a magical moment not to get lost from the balcony of the hostel. I met incredible people and lived unforgettable moments! I think would be better more information and explication of the staff activities during the first days of arrival, to avoid future confusions.You gonna have 1 day off but if you ask and talk in advance they will make the schedule to help you and have a second day off. Thanks you for accepting me and letting me live this experience.Also thanks to Egle, for your advices and help always!

I had an incredible experience during my my time at the Homestal in Taormina! The opportunity not only allowed me to contribute to my host but also provided ample time to explore the local culture. From historic quarters to the markets, granita, and family dinners every corner turned was a positive experience. The city's diverse culinary scene was a delightful journey in itself. The work exchange not only enriched my cultural horizons but made wonderful friendships along the way. Grateful for this unforgettable adventure!

Incredible time. This was my first worldpackers experience and I could not have asked for a better group/ hosts/ and hostel to be staying at. Francesco, pervina, and italo create a fun, welcoming, and learning environment. This is an amazing family environment. The hours are respected and the work is easy.

I had such an amazing month with Francesco, Pervina and the rest of the team and other volunteers 😊 The work was fun and enjoyable (with plenty of time to enjoy Taormina and other day trips), it was sociable with the guests and other workers/volunteers and I felt so at home. There was a great sense of community between us all! I would definitely recommend this hostel to others looking for somewhere to go, I couldn't have asked for a better place for my first volunteer experience. Thanks so much for everything and I'm sure I'll be back at some point ❤️

The best experience I've had so far!! I would definitely recommend it!! Francesco and Pervina are just the best hosts you can ask for, I had so much fun while working at the hostel. There are a few different shifts and you will have the opportunity to learn in all of them. I had the chance to practice English, Spanish and a bit o Italian :). Taormina and surroundings are just breathtaking! Thank you Homstel family 🤍!!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I definitely learned a lot! Although there were sometimes communication issues due to language barriers, my overall experience volunteering at the hostel was great! There were a variety of tasks including changing bed linens, sweeping, mopping, cleaning the washrooms, serving drinks, checking guests in/out, etc. and depending on the shift, you had the opportunity to do something different everyday. Francesco and Pervina are so kind and always available when you need them. I met so many amazing people! I will definitely be back to visit!!❤️

This experience was 10/10. The work tasks are very clear, the schedule is very organized and flexible. The hostel has such a good vibe, the team's apart is cozy. I couldn't be more glad for the opportunity. Francesco, Pervina, Grazia and Ítalo were always supportive and kind. Taormina is an awesome city. I'm gonna miss it forever. Totally recommend!!
