The experience

We have a hostel in Taormina and we’re starting a new project in a small Sicilian village — and we’re looking for cool people with some handy experience.
**Looking for handy workers with skills like electrician, plumbing, carpentry**
We don’t expect you to be a professional.
Just humans who like doing things with their hands 😄

You might help with:
Painting walls
Fixing small things
Carry a box for 20 mtrs 😄

What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Beginner Italian or Intermediate English

Between 22 and 49 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Like every winter, we focus on restructuring our hostel so we can offer a better space and better service to our guests.

For this we need help with maintenance tasks, renovation work and some housekeeping.

Activities & Shift

Shifts are flexible since we have winter time.
In general we offer 4 hours of work for the accommodation, but we can organize ourselves to work longer hours for more days off per week.
like 6 hours shift for 4 days and 3 days off.
