As someone who had their first world packers experience, the hostel was such an amazing option. I got to meet so many international travelers. There was a fair share of volunteering and free time. After awhile it really felt like home. I got really connected to people and nature. I will remember my experience here forever. I am so grateful for the hostel. Thanks for everything I would like to come back and visit you again! :))

It was amazing! At first, I was looking for some experience that could help to improve my Spanish and get to know Colombia better, but I learned much more than that! The cultural immersion was wonderful, the self-knowledge too. The owners of the hostel are very kind and respect each one's individual needs and schedules. They want the volunteers to have fun and get to know the place and the people. The other volunteers were wonderful and I will keep them on my life forever, the guests always were very nice too.

It was not a good experience. There was a mixup with the person that accepted the volunteers, so there were about 8 volunteers and no guests at the hostel. The place was really dirty. The bathroom in the volunteers' room was disgusting and no one was cleaning it or trying to organize a cleaning schedule. Also, the weather is extremely hot and there are a thousand mosquitoes and not enough fans. There was no fan for my bed, no window in the room and I have allergies, so even with repellent all over my body I had about 200 mosquito bites a day later.

This was my first volunteer experience through Worldpackers and it was such an enriching experience. Mona is a true gem and will make sure you have a great experience at the hostel. The other volunteers were incredible and it was wonderful getting to learn about their cultures. The tasks were easy to learn and there are lots of opportunities to try something new.

My stay in the hostel was quite short, but a nice place to start in Colombia. The tasks are easy to make, you get in touch with many international travelers and you have plenty of freetime. The place is well located in Taganga, but there's not much to do in town, so you always have to take a bus to Santa Marta to go anywhere. The shared room is quite messy. But besides that, the sunsets are amazing on the rooftop! PS: you have to dive im Taganga. Life under water in this place is unbelievable!

Being part of the hostel team was undoubtedly an enriching experience. Its spaces are spectacular, the atmosphere is warm, and its team and pets made my stay unique and special (gonna miss the turtles and Panda, that beautiful dog <3). I appreciate having the opportunity to have shared space with the dear Ledys and Denis (the managers), wonderful ladies, very kind and responsible, that I will always carry in my drawer of good memories. Couldn't met Mona personally, but I can tell that she's an amazing person with a giant and kind heart.

I had an amazing experience at the hostel, all volunteers are like family and I felt very much at home, it was my first volunteer experience and could not have been better. I worked at the Bar where I could meet people from all over the world and practice my English and learn Spanish. Taganga is very welcoming and has beautiful beaches near the hostel. Mona is an amazing and inspiring woman, thank you for the opportunity!

The hostel is a hostel super good vibes, close to the beach and many mini markets. The staff is very nice and once you get to know everybody you will have a great time! I was a bartender, that's what I do in Brazil as well and it was very easy. You work with the view of the greatest sunset in Colombia. Animal lovers, 3 dogs and couple of cats(guess 3). Negative points: they don't have breakfast at the hostel and the volunteer's room is suuuuuper messy. But you will survive.
