If you get the chance to volunteer at this hostel – don't think twice, just go for it! The team is amazing – everyone is super kind and welcoming. I felt at home from the very first moment.❤️ Even though I don't speak Spanish, everyone made a great effort to communicate with me, and I always felt included and part of the group. A special thank you to Alejandro, the manager – he's dedicated, helpful, and creates such a positive atmosphere. I'm truly grateful for this experience!

I feel more than happy to have had the chance to belong to the hostel family. I started helping in the bar where I was taught many things in the most funny, knowledgeable, and gentle way. Later, I was invited to help in the restaurant, where I felt more than welcome and loved. As a volunteer, you have two delicious meals a day, discounts, and other benefits. I couldn't believe it ❤️. My favorite part has always been to live, listen, have fun, and learn from such good people who also work and volunteer there. It's a place where travelers truly help each other.

I will never forget my time at the hostel! The town is lovely, locals are friendly, and the hostel is in a prime location to walk around town or take hikes just minutes out of town. I learned a lot during my shifts! I speak an extremely basic level of Spanish and that was by far my biggest hurdle in this experience, as some of the staff don't speak English so there can be a barrier. The hours and tasks were awesome, I worked every evening so I had my days free to explore. Some small improvements might do the hostel well, but regardless, it's a great spot with cool people. I had a fantastic time volunteering at the hostel! The atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone I met was incredibly kind and supportive. It was a truly enjoyable experience, and I felt valued and appreciated throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

I had a really good time with the team and the work with content creation was a lot of fun! The hostel is really good, however I was the only one from the team actually staying there. The others stayed in a house next door. My bed and the food offered were all great. I just wish that the working hours were better defined because sometimes it felt like I had to be available at any time needed. I was asked to create content about tours and pay for half of it, which I refused. In any case, I made my experience great and highly recommend volunteering in the hostel!Huge thanks to Mateo and Camilo!

The hours, food, and accommodation were respected, nice and welcoming colleagues, my only problem was the communication before hand, on the texts exchanged, the host said that “maybe you can help us with the cashier and costumer service, does it sound like a good idea to you?” And I liked the idea, but when I got there I was assigned for cleaning, the texts weren't very clear (that to say not at all mentioned) on the part that I might work with housekeeping instead, which was very disappointing.

Amazing experience and really nice volunteers. Work was simple and the environment was beautiful. Some of the full time staff were a bit rude and unhelpful, and some things such as days off could be better organised. However, would definetly recommend.

The hostel is a fun hostel with lots of character. The work was straightforward, the hours were respected, and the food was tasty. Like any workplace though, there are some downsides. Some of the full-time workers could make you feel unwelcome at times, though the vast majority were kind and respectful. The staff house is also in undesirable conditions, but management has hired someone to look into the issues. Overall it was a good experience, gracias a todos.

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue buena :) ! Trabajé en el área de HK por tres semanas. Las tareas son fáciles y los horarios de trabajo son respetados. El ambiente del hostel es tranquilo y relajado. Pude alejarme del caos de las ciudades grandes. Me enamoré del pueblito de Aguas Calientes, puedes hacer hikes, ir a las cataratas, nadar en el rio, ir a las aguas termales, visitar Machu Picchu, etc. Pude alejarme del caos de las ciudades grandes y estar en contacto con la naturaleza, la cual es alucinante en esa zona. Recuerdo con cariño mi estadía en el hostel, gracias por la oportunidad <3
