The month I spent with the hostel team was great. The whole team was very nice and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The tasks were fairy easy. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking to spend more time in one place and want to meet international travelers!

Nice staff, really good chill out location. Rooms are okay and the work you have to do is like they describe. All in one fair and nice experience.

We arrived to find out the hostel didn't communicate between managers and decided they didn't need to hire any more volunteers. We had planned to work here a month and were told at first we could stay for a couple days to find our feet but they changed their mind and said we would have to leave and the hostel wouldn't help us. We had no where to go because of the late notice and the hostel did nothing to help us. We were left homeless with no support or consideration to our situation. We had to leave the island and our travel plans and further booked flights were affected because of this.

The hostel quickly felt like home while volunteering there for a month. The owner Mark, the people working there and the other volunteers have made me feel so welcome. The shifts were so much fun. I either worked a dayshift (11-5 mainly reception work, bit of bartending), which allowed me to go out afterwards. Or a nightshift (6-12 mainly bartending, bit of reception work), which allowed me to go around the island before the shift (There is way more to do and to see than just the Full moon party ;) And I absolutely loved meeting so many new people. I would love to come back in the future!!

Hands down the best volunteering position I've ever done. I spent pretty much all my time hanging out on the vibey rooftop bar that overlooks the beach, playing pool and hanging with the hostel family. The food is amazing, the work is enjoyable and relaxed. Joelle is the owner/manager but she felt more like family to me during my five months I volunteered here, an absolute gem of a human 👌 The other volunteers were amazing too - Shout-out OG the hostel FAMILY. Shout-out SILVERBACKS AHOO. Absolutely love this place and it'll be my first stop whenever I come back to Thailand! A++++

Volunteering at the hostel in Koh Phangan was absolutlely amazing! I walked into the hostel and already felt really welcome. I was greeted by the manager and the owner and they are both great! The work is really nice since bar and reception are one and you get to talk to so many different people. The shifts are good too, you work either night shift and get to explore the island before or you work day shift and can go out to party later:) The people working there and the regulars who come in almost every day are the best. Would 100% recommend, you might never want to leave:))

I loved my stay at the hostel Koh Tao! The volunteers are one big family, I felt welcomed the second I started volunteering. I would definitely go back in the future and would recommend volunteering here to any and everyone :)

My experience volunteering at the hostel Koh Tao was absolutely amazing! Joelle is the most wonderful host you could ask for. Never really felt like work, was always keen for my next shift. Super social and fun and beautifully located right next to the pier as well. Everyone I worked with has become like family the vibes are always top notch at the hostel! Guests become friends within days/hours. I will 100% be coming back to Joelle and the hostel family. Couldn't recommend it enough to anyone thinking of going, this is the place to be on Koh Tao!

My time at the hostel was one of the best months of my life. I absolutely adore the place, people, and culture. The hostel itself is so welcoming and in such a good area, including a beach within a 3 minute walk! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Koh Tao! Much love to the hostel family <3
