It is a great experience with few hours of work which doesn't feel like work . You get 2 days off per week , which is great if you wanna travel a bit further. the people are very friendly, and there is a community feel to it. I really enjoyed this experience and talking to the students at the host- after a while, they really start to feel like friends. I would advise you uto stay longer than 2 weeks, because 2 weeks feels too short

L enjoyed my stay at the language studio as it was the best way to learn about the Korean culture from the locals. The job doesn't feel like work as the students were very friendly, kind and easy to talk to! As other mentioned before it takes 1 hour to get to Seoul but you can easily manage it to spend there at least 6 hours daily so it's a good place to stay at! You have everything you need in the flat where you're staying at and it's big enough for the amount on persons which are staying there!😊

My experience in the studio was good, the students are nice and the working hours too. The studio/accommodation is 1 hour from Seoul, so if you don't schedule what you want to do in a day the time can be kinda short, because of the classes and the time in the public transportation. In general, my weeks there was really nice 😊

It was my first try on worldpackers and was a good experience generally. I enjoyed my less hectic life the hostel. As a volunteer you should plan well your day because the working schedule is posted on the working day. The working hours are often less than 4hrs a day, which enables you to have a break during the sessions at the language studio. Sometimes it can be 1v2 conversations and you need to talk with 2 students with different levels of English. The accomodation is an apartment with 2 rooms (6 bunk beds and extra mattresses). For any need just notify Oscar in written form.

In general the volunteer position at this studio was very good, the students were very friendly and communicative, the flat is near the studio and it's relatively easy access to Seoul (approximately 1h by subway), the shifts are during the evening, which allowed me to explore everything during the day. I would recommend this volunteer position for anyone who likes to explore during the day, attention that the food provided is just ramen and a few other ingredients, the surroundings are filled with life, restaurants and everything.

Overall I had a really good time at the Language studio and meet many locals and also other volunteers. As many others already said the distance to Seoul is not to be underestimated but it's usually easy to get there!

This is a really good experience to meet locals and understand their culture. I really enjoyed meeting new people and working with the other volunteers. On the other side, the accommodation is too small for the number of volunteers.

I enjoined my stay the hostel and work at the hostel, the best part of it was getting to know local people and the Korean culture from various aspects. The students were very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely repeat this experience 😍.

Oscar was a good host and even though it was short, I really enjoyed my time at the language studio with him and the other volunteers. You only need to work 3/4h a week and you get two days off. the hostel is 1h away by metro to Seoul so you can easily get there and visit the hostel! Note that you only get some ingridents to cook and not actual meals, but you have an equiped apartment with everything you need.

I worked at the language café for 2 months and really enjoyed my time there. Talking with the students gave me a better outlook on korean culture and everyday life. After leaving I still miss some of the students :'(. The accomodation was a little small for 6 people, which most of the time didn't cause problems bigger than the shared space getting a bit messy and the bathroom being crowded. Even though Oscar provides bread, eggs, rice and noodles make sure to have money for extra food and/or ingrediens. You only get the schedule for the day on the day, so planning your day was sometimes hard.
