You pretty much get all that is promised to you. However I did have to sleep on a broken bed for an entire week, and 3 weeks later I still experience intense pain at night. I told this to the host and he told me he would fix it. He never did and also told me to just sleep on a mattress on the floor, met a girl at my next volunteering place. Apparently it was already like that since a few months ago. You get the apartment, but dont expect anything else. Asking for help is not appreciated 👍🏻. I could say a lot of other things but being honest about this already scares me a lot.

I loved being at the hostel because I could meet local people. However I think there's space for improvement in terms of the accommodation and the atmosphere with the other volunteers.

Overall the experience was good. The students were nice and I have met many nice locals. The classes were ok, would have been nice to get weekly schedule instead of waiting every day for the daily one. The acommodation was ok but cleaning tasks should have been assigned and done properly, some people never cleaned which was disappointing. the hostel is 1 h+ from Seoul by subway keep that in mind when applying. the hostel is small but fun the hostel, loved the hostel Station area at nighttime. Thanks for having me!

Overall teaching the hostel was a really good experience! I both met international and Korean friends during my stay. Locationwise is about 30-60 min from Seoul, but the hostel is not a bad place to explore either. Schedule is usually around 3 hours per day in the evening. Ramen, eggs, rice etc. are provided and host is easy to contact!

+ great work! I really liked to be at the language studio! it's a chill atmosphere and it's a wonderful way to get in contact with locals + you can practice your English and communication skills +working hours were like mentioned in the description or even less + good kitchen equipment, if you like to cook ;) + friendly and caring host - no meals! provided ingredients: rice, eggs, instant ramen (beef), toast (sweet). description should be clearer - maintenance in the apartment, especially cleaning should definitely be improved! (got stained linen and greasy pillow, generell very messy)

This place is for everyone who wants to be immersed in Korean culture. I met many new people, especially Koreans whom I also practiced Korean and the work is easy, it doesn't feel like work. The accommodation is comfortable, however, you have to prepare yourself for having little to no private space which can be challenging when you're staying for a long time (I stayed for 6-7 weeks) and I recommend creating some household rules to make sure that everyone respects each other + to keep the place clean and comfortable. Oskar is chill and friendly; you can always reach out to him.

Being around a the hostel-esque town that is near to the Seoul proved to give me a good insight about the South Korean culture and people. Moreover, it was great making friends with people who visit the studio and get to understand the Korean mindset. Furthermore, let me get to accommodation - it's a cozy place that you can actually call home. It's perfect, like five minutes from the studio and two minutes from a subway station. Really a hearty thanks to Oscar for taking care of me from the day I stepped in Korea and beyond. And the co-workers I met were really good.

I spend one month at the language studio and I had a great experience! Since the studio recently opened the apartment the volunteers are living in is very clean and has a great location close to a subway station, many restaurants and it is also not too far away from Seoul! The work at studio is perfect to get to know locals and learn a bit about the Korean culture.

I volunteered the hostel for 4 weeks and had a wonderful time! Oscar, the host, is friendly and is willing to go out of his way to ensure you have a great experience. Helping out at the language studio is an opportunity to meet friendly locals and learn about the culture. Also the accommodation is spacious and in a great location - conveniently next to a subway station and an array of restaurants, bars and cafes!
