The experience

We are an orphanage. A volunteer shall help to care for our animals like rabbits, goats, and chickens. You would help us with new skills in animal caring, feeding, and new advice.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Additional fee required

Amount: € 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Materials for volunteer activities

Description: Volunteers contribute 15 euros per day which help us to cover meals, filtered water for drinking, electricity bills, water bills, internet bills and running some other activities at the foundation as well this is not part of the donations

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Swahili

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We work as a team with our volunteers as well as one family. We learn from volunteers as we share the skills and knowledge we have.

Activities & Shift

Shifts are arranged on the day of arrival. As well we have both morning and evening shifts depending on the weather of the day and the availability of the volunteer
