The experience

We would like to invite all volunteers from allover the world to visit us in Mwanza city-Tanzania and work with us in supporting children academically. Being with us you will learn Kiswahili Language and you will dance different traditional dances with our children as a refreshment. We are doing this because we asume that most of you will be in holidays so, you need to refresh your mind. We also support you to visit national parks and so on.

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Pub Crawls: Be a part of our pub crawls at local bars!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Our volunteers will be free to choose program to conduct with our children. Our volunteers will be attending the work place for 3 hours up to 4 per day purposely to enjoy and give hope to our children.

Activities & Shift

Activities that will be conducted are as follows:-
1. Traditional dances: participants will be children, staff members and visitors (optional)
2. Local greetings : participants will be staff members, children and visitors
3. Kiswahili Language training: participants will be our volunteers (visitors) it will be free of charge.
4. Sports and games: participants will be children, staff and visitors
5. Local food preparation: participants will be staff members, children and our volunteers.

Rules

Our rules will base on children rights as stated in the UNICEF. Our volunteers will also be guided by the Tanzanian law when are in Tanzania. We believe in Love, Respect, Accountability, Unity, and Peace and Transparency.
Therefore, all volunteers will be treated equally and fairly.
