This place is fantastic. The people are lovely and always open to listen. The food is good, even though they give us meat only once a week. This place has many areas to work, and I love that because one day you can be a gardener, other days you take care of animals, and the next day help in a kitchen. Every day, I met people from different parts of the globe, which was very interesting.

I had the greatest time at Sammatz and I will never forget it. I made some of the best friends from around the world, learned about different cultures, and got to do work that I had never done before. It is a great place to go to just clear your mind and enjoy life. The work and working hours are definitely not for someone looking for a vacation, but if you are willing to contribute to the community you will get a lot in return. If anyone is on the fence about coming here, like I was, I would say to just do it and you won't regret it.

If you want to live a fulfilling and life-changing community-like experience as well as help contribute in a super cool project, this is for you. The amount of nice and welcoming people, the beautiful landscape and the variety of activities makes it seem as if u weren't working, it was truly a delightful experience. Also, it has a magical ambience which helps making true friends and new connections which you will most likely always remember. Overall, a heartwarming experience which im thrilled to repeat.

I feel like I've made the right choice, in Sammatz my first experience as volunteer was great, there are lot of people from all over the world during the summer and many different tasks to do witch allows to the volunteers to find the most fitted according their skills. Also I felt very supported by the Sammatz's mentors, they were kind and helpful. Sammatz is surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature and the facilities all around the place are really good. I'll miss Sammatz and the friendly people I've met there for sure.

Sammatz is an incredible place filled with beautiful people and endless opportunities to learn new skills. There's a lot of flexibility when it comes to choosing what areas you want to work in, which makes for a well-rounded experience. Whether you're interested in working with animals, learning more about horticulture, practicing your German, or anything else, there are ways you can do that. The people here are respectful, kind, and accommodating. The food was good (so many vegetarian and vegan options), the work was rewarding, and I made lifelong friends. You won't regret coming here!!!
