The experience

We are creating a yoga centre in the Olive groves near Granada, Spain. We need passionate volunteers to work with us here: restoration, gardening, painting, cleaning and general maintenance. We offer you a private room & ensuite. This is a peaceful place with perfect surroundings for walks / exploring. We will work in the morning/early afternoon, and then you can enjoy the yoga studios, go for walks and bike rides, or simply relax by the 12m pool

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 23 and 65 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

You can come stay with us starting from 7 days duration.

During this time you'll be working an average of 5 hours per day, 5 times a week, helping us with restoration, upgrading, maintenance, painting, cleaning, and perhaps some DIY.

You can leave having made a difference to be proud !

*You'll have a private room or shared if you are a couple.
*You'll have great facilities to prepare your own food.
*You can enjoy the indoor and outdoor yoga studios, the pool and go for walks or bike rides in the olive groves.

In your spare time you can explore the local area and we can provide details of lovely walks and local places to visit. We are 1 hour from Granada, Jaen and Cordoba, and 20 minutes from Alcuadete and 30 from Alcala la Real, both with incredible medieval castles.

You need to be English speaking and if you can speak Spanish helps.

Activities & Shift

Hours are flexible as you choose but as it is hot here in the summer we recommend working in the morning/early afternoon. Your two days off each week are also yours to choose, as suits your schedule.
