I'm thankful for the experience I have there. The full-time staff are unbelievably welcoming and joyful. From day one I felt like belonging to a family. Was too hard to say goodbye, and I miss all of them. I hope to meet then again very very soon. the hostel is in an ongoing process of improvement, and when I left was already completely different from the day I started. So I recommend this experience to anyone willing to learn and contribute to making that hostel an even better place to stay and share life experiences.

The hostel was the best choice in Edinburgh. the hostel is well located, in the city center, next to a subway station and very close to the castle. The local staff became my friends and a true family. Because place is about people and these people made this experience special. Work was smooth and flexible. Your biggest energy will be dedicated to changing beds and if you do it with perfection and teamwork you will be able to enjoy your day and help the hostel. I took a proactive stance on site, restoring the garden ready for use and leaving my touch in place. I will always come back ❤️

Volunteering at the hostel was great! the hostel is in a super convenient location and all the other volunteers where amazing. Living and kitchen space is pretty small but it's manageable :)

Amazing team who made me feel at home from the first moment. Work life balance was more than fair and had plenty of time to explore the city and organise group activities. Will be back for sure!

This was my first time volunteering in a hostel so I didn't fully know what to expect but the team did a wonderful job introducing me to all the different tasks that needed to be done. I always felt wlecome and the work was pretty easy and fun to do together with the other volunteers. the hostel facilities were pretty much what you'd expect from a hostel. Unfortunately during my stay there was a problem with overbooking so some volunteers had to sleep in the office which was not an ideal situation but I'd still return to the hostel in the future for volunteering. Thanks for having me!

Una experiencia maravillosa y divertida!! El trabajo es sencillo y está muy bien organizado. Todas las semanas facilitan una planificación de la semana siguiente siendo flexibles si alguien lo necesita. Hay una habitación para el staff compartida donde duermen todos los voluntarios. Es muy buena oportunidad para conocer gente de todas partes, no solo con los voluntarios si no también con los huéspedes del Hostel. El idioma común es el inglés, por lo que si quieres mejorarlo es muy útil también. Estoy muy agradecida por todo a Stephanie. Lo recomiendo 100%. Volveré ☺️

Siempre le estaré agradecida a Stephanie y Mica por haberme dado esta oportunidad. Han sido dos meses increíbles en los que he aprendido y mejorado mi inglés, y lo más importante, he conocido a gente maravillosa. Es un lugar especial que hará que te sientas como en casa. En cuanto a la ubicación, tienes el centro de la ciudad a 20 minutos a pie. El trabajo es según lo establecido, y si necesitas algún cambio puedes comunicarlo sin problema, siempre estarán dispuestas a ayudarte y hacer de tu estancia en el Hostel lo más cómoda posible. Una de las experiencias de mi vida, repetiría sin duda :)
