My first experience volunteering in a hostel and any other experiences I do in the future will have a tough job comparing to the hostel. As most of the other reviews say the community feels like a family. The work is extremely fair and flexible, you have plenty of time off to be able to explore other parts of Romania. The jobs were explained really well and there was always someone there if you have any questions. I had travel booked either side so I was only able to stay for 3 weeks however I would definitely recommend staying at least 4 weeks. Special thanks to everyone for the best experience <3

An incredible experience! I've never been to a hostel that puts such an emphasis on building a strong, family-like community of locals, expats and travelers with well-planned inclusive events every evening. I stayed at the hostel for just over a month and came away with lifelong memories. The work as a volunteer is very fair for what you receive with help and guidance always available. You really start to feel like a family which makes it so much harder to eventually leave. Much love to all the wonderful staff and volunteers. This isn't a 'goodbye', more like a 'see you soon'. I'll be back!

My time at the hostel has really allowed me to grow and evolve within an incredible, respectful and frankly energetic community! The climate obviously changes depending on the volunteers who will be working with you, but the staff always makes sure that you feel comfortable and included. The care, the listening, the respect and inclusiveness of the staff really touched me, and I will be forever grateful to have had the chance to experience this with Mana, Issam, Monica, Josephina and Rob! Thanks for the great time, and see you soon for another improv night! <3

The hostel was a great hostel to volunteer at! The staff is lovely, as are the regular locals and travelers who come through. Everything was as agreed upon, and the shifts are generally easy. It was a wonderful place to have a break from traveling. There's always something to do with the many the hostel events, and it's a very comfortable and easy place to be, so much so you'll find it's hard to leave the hostel even on your days off. I recommend it!

Beautiful. I love you guys and I'm missing you tons. Everybody in the hostel was very loving and helpful. Management and Staff (including Mici), Volunteers, Community Members and Guests create a beautiful atmosphere. Thank you so much for all the good you shared and for helping me to improve myself in every way. the hostel is a hostel, bar and community place that brings the chance to meet locals from Bucharest because hosts events every evening (my favourite is Open Stage). The tasks are very easy and shifts are rotative between the different activities so is a good balance. <3 Potatoes!

It is a super sociable place where you can meet many locals and international travelers from my first day with the volunteers they made me feel at home. It was a very good experience that I definitely recommend and I hope to go back again soon.

Volunteering at the hostel is an outstanding experience, certainly one of the best I've had. You may find yourself not leaving the hostel for a few days bc the environment is so fun n comfortable that you just don't feel like it hahah no wonder why so many people go back for a visit! You'll meet lots of locals, which is amazing and not something that happens in many hostels, also be surrounded by lots of culture and knowledge (you'll be amazed by how seriously people take trivia hahah) Thanks to Rob, Jo🌹, Issam, Monica, Ms Silvia and all my friends/volunteers that shared this month with me. This was my sixth volunteer experience, and it exceeded all my expectations, a truly pure-hearted place, with lovely people, Rob is an amazing host, he is always there for you. Great hostel to share your culture and learn of others. the hostel has a different event every day, so it's easy to join the community from day one. Definitely I'll be back, I already miss the vibe of the hostel
