The Experience

Our lush exotic tropical family farm is in need of a few extra hands to care for the land. Picking fruit, pulling weeds and keeping the animals fed Cleaning the common & guest areas are the daily duties. If you have some additional skills like fixing things, love to paint and make things generally more beautiful that would be a bonus. No alcohol or nicotine on site please. Please be mindful and considerate in speech and action.

This is a Beautiful place to give service. I love the Land, the sustainability, living off grid, soooo much fruit and land snacks!! Things were a bit in transition here trying to get a full dedicated team and I see areas of opportunity for growth. I feel things could be a bit more organized and we definitely could use more help!! We are working on this. I am considering staying long term. I definitely recommend a visit!! Come help us maintain and beautify the land!! Mahalo I love the lodge!!

The lodge is a magical place! I had an amazing time volunteering there. It's a beautiful place where you can connect with nature. The volunteering hours are fair, and they were always respected. As it is a living off the grid community, it was a very educational experience. Anita, the manager is always making sure you are having a great time. She cooks delicious vegan food, and she shares her recipes and teaches you. There are activities for enjoyment like yoga and Qigong. I loved the yoga class! Definitely I recommend the lodge!!

I truly don't have the words to describe how wonderful my experience here was! the lodge is the most magical place with wonderful, interesting, and open minded people. You learn so much about living off grid, maintaining a property, jungle life, sustainability, and Hawai'i. The work is super fair and pretty interesting- picking fruit, gardening, restoring furniture, painting, cleaning, and more. There's also a huge emphasis on having fun too!! Can't recommend this place enough, it definitely changed my life. Come with an open mind and open heart and you won't be disappointed!

The lodge is the most beautiful place with the most beautiful people! my time was spent on helping with a building project and learning about what it means to live off grid. there is a fruit forest and beautiful kitchen to learn how to prep and prepare them. would definitely recommend this place for someone interested in sustainable and community living!
