A great place for volunteering, meeting people, and practicing languages. Short-term volunteers stay in a large, spacious house. Lunch is provided, while breakfast and dinner are on your own, but the pantry is well-stocked, allowing you to prepare your own meals. Work is 6.5 hours per day, with shifts spread between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., which can be tiring due to frequent commuting throughout the day. Overall, it's a unique and rewarding experience, offering learning, new friendships, and cultural immersion.

Volunteering in Sammatz has truly been one of the most fulfilling and enriching experiences of my life! Here I had the chance to meet so many people from all around the world, practice languages, try out different jobs and feeling part of a very welcoming community. I absolutely recommend this host to everyone who is interested in living the community life far away from the city and get involved in different activities! Thank you Sammatz❤️

It has been an excellent experience coming to Sammatz. From the moment you arrive, they welcome you in the best way. Your mentor is always attentive, making sure you don't lack anything, and the people who do the volunteer work with you are also wonderful, making your stay here very pleasant. The tasks are not complicated, and the people who give the instructions are so patient that they even make the effort to speak Spanish so you can understand what you need to do. I definitely recommend it.

Sammatz is a beautiful place to stay for people who like to work hard and fun, while having a lot of benefits in return :) This is my third time volunteering and I have never experience anything like this place. If you like to feel at home, meet new people, work in a wide variety of fields and get in touch with nature, this is your place. Also, you could be lucky enough to find long lasting connections and a second home in the other side of the world.

Volunteering has been one of the best experiences of my life. It allowed me to grow both personally and as a person, learning to help others with empathy, responsibility, and commitment. Each activity taught me the value of teamwork, patience, and respect. It also helped me develop important skills such as communication, organization, and adaptability. Without a doubt, volunteering left a very positive mark on me and reinforced my desire to continue contributing and learning.

It was my first volunteering experience outside my country, and without a doubt it is a place where I was able to meet many people and connect in a very special way. The mentors are amazing incredibly understanding, dedicated, and always smiling or checking in on your well-being. I truly felt very good there; it is definitely a place I would love to return to on a future trip.😍✨

My experience in sammatz was unforgettable. the place is really bigger than you think and even better than in photos. all the people there are wonderful, friendly and sweet. and if you have a problem, any kind, they always have a solution! i really enjoyed spending my days there, making a lot of new friends, cuddling the goats, walking in the night, cooking all together and planting the tulips (the last one a little bit less ahah). of course you have to like living with a lot of people everyday, but there are also a lot of spots where you can stay alone and relax. a thousand thank you!

I was at Sammatz for almost three months and it has been the most wonderful experience I've had. I 100% recommend going. You will not only learn a lot during the different types of jobs they have, but you'll be able to learn a lot about yourself too. However, I think the most amazing thing Sammatz has, it's the people. The volunteers and workers are so wonderful, kind and welcoming in a way that it made me feel just like home. It would truly be an honor and a privilege to go back some day, and I hope that day comes sooner rather than later. ;)

My experience at Sammatz was one of the best I've had. I've been traveling for 9 months now and this was the only place I decided to stay as much as I could. In this place you're able to connect with nature as much as you want. You can also explore with animals, cooking, baking or whatever you're good at. I sincerely loved being part of Sammatz family, meet so many great friends and with them their cultures. I had so much fun and I really learned a lot as well. I'm looking forward to go again but this time form more than 3 months. Best place if you wanna find yourself ♡
