The experience

Be the responsible of social media at one of the best hostels in Puerto Viejo!
For this role we are looking for volunteers with some experience in social media, energetic people who love socializing and creating good vibes at the hostel too! You will be responsible of creating content and posting regularly in our social media channels (Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook).

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English and Intermediate Spanish

Between 22 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

We need assistance to manage and create content for our social media. Also create excellent content for our website (pictures and videos).

Activities & Shift

Volunteers usually work five days per week with two days off, completing five-hour shifts. Schedules for this position are flexible due to the nature of the role.
Accommodation is provided in exchange for work.

Rules

Be punctual and responsible with your assigned shifts.
Keep the shared dormitory clean at all times. Guests or outsiders are not allowed in the volunteers’ room.
Use laundry facilities as specified.
Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere at the hostel with staff, fellow volunteers, and guests.
