We provide accommodation, meals, 24/7 support, discounted safaris, language classes, and an unforgettable cultural exchange.

What you offer

5 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: This small fee covers your accommodation, meals, WiFi, utilities, and all project materials. It keeps our community programs running and ensures you have a safe, welcoming place to stay. We keep the cost as low as possible so volunteers from all over the world can join us.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Requirements

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

They are free to cook for themselves as everything is provided right from gas cooker to oven including charcoal stove.

The volunteers are also free to enjoy a meal at the organization with the children if they so wish.

On weekends the volunteers can be taken around to visit some tourist places around Jinja if they desire.

Activities & Shift

Researchers are welcome and at the end of their stay they will be awarded a certificate in appreciation of their contribution to the organization.

The security of the volunteers is guaranteed and is priority for all our visitors. When volunteers are moving through the community they will be accompanied by a staff member of the organization to help with language and direction unless they wish to move alone.

Rules

There are cases where some people prefer staying in their tents.That too is welcome.The compound is large enough to accommodate that especially if they have their own tents.
