Program Details

All volunteers will be located in Budva, in the heart of the old town, just 50 meters from the beach.
We have arranged the tasks so that everyone works in moderation and everyone has enough time to rest. We do not have night shifts or late check-ins.
No waking up early or staying up late. We have a very moderate rhythm of work, which was tested at the beginning of June and works great.

We ensure that volunteers do not experience exhaustion or lack of sleep. Volunteers who go to our hostel in Kotor will be provided transportation. There is also a 4-hour shift in Kotor, and volunteers can use the rest of the time to explore the city and its surroundings. Volunteers have one day off per week. All volunteers are entitled to at least one free tour, which usually includes a boat tour in the summer months.

Activities & Shift

Our facilities only have dormitories and are located in central locations in the old towns of Kotor and Budva.
The shift in Budva is from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tasks include cleaning the rooms, bathroom, and kitchen, and working in the laundry. We do not have a pool, bars, or gardens, so there's no need for additional cleaning. We only have dormitories and kitchens.
This allows volunteers to work with less stress and have a more pleasant stay. Volunteering is in two shifts, each lasting 4 hours. No night shifts.
In Kotor, work is done in the afternoon from 17:00-20:00, mainly help with the reception.
All volunteers first work in Budva, and only those who have shown that they are reliable, punctual and trustworthy can work in Kotor.

Rules

We require volunteers to be responsible and punctual. It's important to note that we are not a party hostel, we do not organize parties within the hostel, and we will not tolerate inappropriate behavior. Upon arrival, volunteers will receive instructions on their duties. These rules must be strictly followed. Volunteers who do not adhere to the work rules, neglect their duties, or perform them incorrectly will be given a warning. They will receive further explanations on how tasks should be carried out. However, if they continue to disobey the rules, their stay will be immediately canceled, and their cooperation terminated. The use of telephones and headphones while working is not allowed.
What we are looking for from volunteers is that they are focused while working, help their colleagues, and be kind to guests.
