Organic Orchard Farming & Nature conservation Champions


The experience

Volunteers will be a part of the daily farming routine. Our end goal is to live off the land, farm is built on the principles of permaculture. Depending on the season the vounteers would need to help with maintenance work Weeding, Pruning, to Harvesting fruits, cleaning, sorting, packing, drying etc. Also non farming activites will need help with cooking & keeping your room clean.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 7 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: 7$ per day to cover food & maintenance.

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 55 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Depending on the season the champions will need to help out with harvesting, grading , sorting & packing during the season to routine work like pruning, weeding, fertigation etc.


Activities & Shift

5 hrs a day help
8 to 10am farming
10 to 11am breakfast
11 to 1pm farming
1 to 4pm lunch & rest
4 to 5 farming


Rules

Shared accommodation, toilets & kitchen.
No pets allowed as i have dogs on the farm
Expectation is to keep you room clean & well maintained.
