I loved the experience, volunteering had quiet tasks to perform, which made it easier to finish and with it more free time having the opportunity to get to know the Island. Amazing place and lovely people.

I personally would not recommend to anyone, nor a first time volunteer. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected daily because of our manager Tomislava's behavior and attitude. I suggest communication be more transparent, as she will only communicate to volunteers through text. She ignored me when initiating in-person conversations often. I suggest dialogue between manager and volunteers to be more flexible and understanding, Tomislava refused to have flexibility in our schedules and frequently asked for additional help/work outside of working hours. Message me for info or alternatives or advice.

I do NOT recommend this experience at all. Only choose this host if you can endure the host's horrible attitude during your shifts. There is a NEW MANAGER (name: Tomislava), and she criticized us frequently when we did not clean according to her expectations (but she did not train us). Also, her room is connected to yours so she can pass through your room at any time. This manager called me slurs behind my back to other volunteers and also gossiped about the owner of the Villa and the guests staying there. She also threatened to kick us out when we sat down/drank water during our shifts, etc.

I have stayed one month in the villa and DON'T recommend staying here, especially if Tomislava is the manager. She threatens the volunteers with kicking them out, talks badly about others (from the guests to the volunteers and even cursed the owner of the villa many times privately in Serbian to me). She is not flexible and every moment I felt on the edge, criticised, and unwelcome in the villa. She said many ugly words like "bit*h" and similar about the other volunteers. For screenshots and proof, contact me privately. Also, the villa does not provide food, no private bed, no lessons.

It is great for a first experience, since the job is easy once you learn it. The house is really nice and cozy, in a great position in the city and calm. The owners were nice. A problem we had was that some of the things that were written on the website were actually not given to us, like discounts, tours and bikes. Nevertheless I recommend it if your goal is to visit the island and pratice languages, since you get a lot of free time.

The Villa is great as well as the team. Many international travelers pass by the Villa and you are likely to have the opportunity to work with others volunteers from Worldpackers or other problem like this one

The coliving is a great place to explore Gran Canaria. I've meet many international travelers and u can make small talk with everyone in the kitchen while cooking. The guesthouse is clean and I had a lot of free time. Time to explore the spanish culture .the coliving is a great place 👍

Si buscas tranquilidad, paz y conocer gente internacional entonces estás en el lugar correcto! La Villa es un lugar para relajarse con una ubicación excelente, la playa más cercana está a menos de 10 min caminando, con parques muy lindos alrededor. Caminando a unos 20 min del centro y de las playas mas bonitas de aquí. Los encargados de la Villa Sara, Federica, Runar los mejores👌🏻muy amables y respetuosos. La ciudad es hermosa ni muy grande, pero ni muy pequeña tampoco, en mi experiencia general la gente local ha sido muy amable y respetuosa. Sin dudas recomendable 😌

El coliving Fé fue un lugar mágico. Fui muy bien recibida por el equipo y allí, más que un voluntariado, pude hacer verdaderos amigos. La ubicación es céntrica y perfecta: en un barrio llamado Cidade Jardin, desde donde podía llegar caminando a la playa. El trabajo consistía en la limpieza de las habitaciones, áreas comunes y lavandería por las mañanas. Tommy es un hermoso pinscher que nos acompaña y alegra el ambiente. Gracias por todo, de corazón, espero volver a verlos.
