Unfortunately, I had to leave early due to an injury. As I was only here a few days, the short time I got to spend here was amazing. This is a organization that truly cares about the well-being of the animals. Everyone works as a team and I felt very welcomed by everyone. Besides tons of mosquitoes and flys in the living spaces which isn't anyones fault, just bring some bug spray) we are provided with a decently comfy living space and well equipped kitchen. I recommend this place if you want be part of an amazing cause and immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of the Spanish countryside.

It is a very nice experience of disconnecting from the city and the best company, which is all the dogs he lives with at the shelter. It is a very nice foundation that knows that dogs are the priority.

My time at the shelter was very valuable and memorable! The volunteers & owners were very welcoming and cared about my integration despite a language barrier. Everyone really cares for the dogs - It was inspiring to see so much meaningful work done w/ little resources. Fair warning that since it's a donation based non-profit, it's not furnished well, we share our lounge area w/ the dogs so it gets quite dirty, and a rat near the kitchen. It took me some getting used to but it was a small price to pay when I saw how important their work is - everyone working to give so many dogs much better lives ❤️

This was my first worldpacker experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Patri was very welcoming from the get-go and responded to any questions or concerns I had. All the volunteers at the shelter were so welcoming and kind and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to spend the time with. The work was really fulfilling and enjoyable and you can see how much the people there care about the animals. I would love to go back again and I was sorry that I only chose to go here for two weeks , I wish my stay had been longer.

As a first volunteering experience I couldn't have hoped for anything better than that !! Patri, Jose and all of the others volunteers are just soooo nice and committed to da good thing for those precious animals! They all made me feel at home and I will forever be grateful for their kindness and generosity. I have now so many new memories and friends that I will never forget !! Grateful and hoping to be able to see them all again soon !

I had an incredible experience working at the shelter. all the people there are there to care for animals, which says a lot about their personalities: kind and caring, with lots of generosity to give. the community there was more like a family than a workplace, all united by a common objective. the work is very fun- essentially consisting of playing with animals and taking dogs for walks through the beautiful Catalunyan countryside. i would definitely recommend the shelter and hopefully will return one day. thanks to everyone that made my experience great!

La meva experiència al refugi caní ha sigut realment entranyable. L'equip és molt càlid, i les feines són agradables i plenes de sentit. Cuidar dels gossos, veure com progressen i fer pinya amb persones tan maques m'ha fet sentir com a casa. A més, m'he endut amics de debò d'aquesta vivència. Recomano aquest voluntariat a tothom que estimi els animals i vulgui viure una experiència autèntica i molt enriquidora.
