This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! The host family, the small and cozy town of Cogolo, the beautiful sights, the nearby hikes, the fellow volunteers, and the work itself are all absolutely incredible! Your shift goes by so fast as you are surrounded by amazing 360 degree views and feel your work is meaningful and makes a difference. The hosts are very sweet, welcoming, and fair - and as long as you work hard and can take a joke - the farm will be as life changing for you as it was for me!

I had a great time at the farm!! The hosts are very lovely and joke a lot :) We eat very good food there, the work is interesting and also we have a lot of free time. They respect the 4hrs work /day and free days. I slept in a caravan with 3 other girls, it was pretty cosy. Some volunteers sleep in a tent when there's no more place in the caravans. The mood between the workers and volunteers was also nice and fun, we hung out together and talk about our different cultures. I got to learn a bit of Italian but we mostly spoke in English. The surroundings are beautiful, good hikes and pictures!

The farm was the most amazing experience! It's very fun to work in the fields and the work hours gives you time to both go on hikes on workdays and your days off. Giuliano and Joy are both very fun and loving people, their dedication to the farm and family is very inspiring. Even with many volunteers at once and hectic moments, they are dedicated to ensure that you have a good experience. Joy cooks amazing food!!Cogolo is beautiful with endless hiking opportunities, but what makes this place great is Giuliano and Joys big hearts and your time with other volunteers<3 hope to come back one day

A great experience! The place is beautiful, full of nature, and perfect for people who love mountains. The work is not hard, but it requires dedication and commitment. Giuliano and Joy are nice and work hard to keep everything going well.

My experience in the farm was wonderful. The work was fun; I arrived before the season started, so we mainly planted new crops with the other volunteers. Giuliano is very funny, as is Joy, who also makes excellent meals. I had the chance to meet great volunteers, and together we explored spectacular hiking spots during our free time. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to discover the Italian Alps while also learning how a farm operates.

My stay in Cogolo was absolutely amazing. The place is wonderful, with breathtaking landscapes and a strong local culture. Working in the fields, preparing the soil for the plants, cleaning fruits to make jam: every activity was meaningful and fun. But the best part was being welcomed with so much love and care by the family. Giuliano is the "old farmer from the mountains" who has more fun stories than a hundred books could hold, and Joy is the most brilliant chef, a person with the love and care that only a mother's heart can conjure. I have nothing but love and gratitude for them!

My experience at the farm was amazing. It was my first volunteer work, and honestly, I couldn't have been luckier to choose this place. I spent two full months there, and it felt like my own home. Joy is an extraordinary person who cared for us like her own children and prepared delicious, super healthy homemade meals. As for Giuliano, he's a special person – you need to open your mind to see what a great person he truly is. With him, we shared unforgettable experiences and i have some great stories to take with me. I am eternally grateful to them for this adventure, and i recommend it 100 %
