Program Details

We are here to share our off-grid lifestyle experience. We want to share our knowledge of permaculture, dry land gardening, working with different tools, recycling, making canned food, recognize edible wild plants and much more. Of course, sometimes it also means hard or boring help (like collecting firewood, preparing new vegetable beds, clean chicken house etc.). But we do it all together. Our volunteers are part of our family.

It’s like an intensive individual course about off-grid life and everything that comes with it mixed by enjoying nature in a wonderful place. How much everyone learns and acquires new skills depends, of course, mainly on the person himself and his motivation.

Activities & Shift

Day to day activities are life itself :)
Days are different and our volunteers are part of our family. We have animals, we have garden, we are doing reforms in one part of the house. Sometimes just need to clean things, fix things. If somebody is really good of something or really interested practice some work, we try to take this into account when choosing jobs but but boring but necessary things must be done as well (like cleaning chicken house...). I can't tell you at the moment what is most urgent or most important when you plan to be here - we will see.

Rules

We are 10km from the nearest village. I can pick you up for free and without any problem from the nearest village when you arrive or leave. You can get there with public transport (by bus or by train).

I can also pick you up from the Valencia airport but this is not free. It's 120km round trip for me and It is 60 euros. We can talk it out if you're coming :)

The work is flexible. It is possible to do some longer day and get more days off if you like it.

NB! If you want to go to the village or the city of Valencia on your days off, you will have to walk 10km to the nearest village. We are unable to offer a continuous return transport service from the village.
