I had an amazing time here! It was really fun to spend time with & get to know all the volunteers and the family. The housework is not hard and going to the schools in Gibraltar was also really fun (ESPECIALLY the motorbike rides there!!!!). One of the things I appreciated most was how many opportunities were provided to participate in the Jiujitsu course, workout classes or just training in the gym on your own. It's very motivating to see everyone be so passionate about Jiujitsu and also working out in general!

The tasks are daily things and not difficult to do, the classes are incredible and every moment you learn something. But this volunteering is not about the tasks. This is an incredible family who took me in as part of their family! They encouraged me to start training again, taught me jiu-jitsu and the importance of a good diet, all in a light and loving way. I'm very grateful to all of them for the beautiful moments, outings and lessons I'll certainly carry in my heart! If you are willing to seek personal improvement and enjoy being in family, I really recommend them. I hope to return one day.

My assignments included helping 3x a week with BJJ classes for children and, for the completion of the hours, they looked for our qualities to help in the best way possible. I helped with audiovisual and social media, which was great for both parties. Working remotely was a bit of a challenge with the intense routine, but nothing that a talk with them didn't solve. About this routine, they offer a lot of activities on the side, such as special HIIT and BJJ classes, being a great place to stay healthy and learn new things. The family was receptive and friendly, I would recommend the experience!

My job was to teach children, 3 times a week. Stacie and Sean tried to provide an experience in line with my current profession to complete the rest of the weekly hours, which was great for me, I was able to help with the restructuring of the website, I was able to learn new skills and increase my portfolio. The routine is very intense, with many activities, which in my case, working remotely, was a little difficult, so I talked to them and they were understanding. I was able to maintain healthy and learn Bjj. The family welcomed me and treated me very well 🥰

I had a great time and beautiful experience with Stacie and Sean. The family is very active and offer a positive environment for the school and jiujitsu learning. The area where they are located is very beautiful and surrounded by nature. The only down side is that the house is a bit isolated, 1h walk to the beach, no bus or uber around..and during the time I was there the bike for the volunteers was broken :/ The cleaning tasks are a big part of the work and also the hours of work vary day by day, so if you need a regular schedule or mind cleaning this is not a good fit for you.

I couldn't go anywhere without the help of the family so I was stuck in the house. They didn't really include me so I felt very lonely. I haven't had much sparetime because even after my 5 hours of work they wanted me to do general tasks for them. I always tried to do my best but it was never enough and they kept complaining about my work in a disrespectful way. I didn't feel comfortable around them because I had the feeling they were always judging me. I didn't learn anything about the right nutritional diet or sport but they only said rude comments about my eating habits.

It must be stated clearly that the challenges we faced during your stay were not minor but significant. Despite the initial positive impression, we observed a consistent pattern of under performance and disregard for the responsibilities assigned to you. Our program is designed to be dynamic and requires a high level of engagement and commitment from all participants. Unfortunately, your efforts fell short of these expectations.

The issues were not limited to a lack of initiative in completing tasks but extended to a noticeable disregard for the quality and timeliness of your work. Such behavior not only undermines the values of our volunteer program but also impacts the well-being and experience of the entire community. Despite repeated feedback and guidance, there was little improvement, indicating a reluctance to adapt and contribute meaningfully.

Moreover, your approach and attitude towards the shared responsibilities and community living were concerning. The perception of arrogance and an unwillingness to fully integrate and cooperate with other members of the household created unnecessary tension. A community thrives on mutual respect, collaboration, and the collective efforts of all its members. When these principles are not upheld, it disrupts the harmony and productivity of the entire group.

Upon your application, it was noted that you did not possess any fitness qualifications, with your experience limited to dancing and climbing. Despite this, you expressed a keen interest in learning about healthy eating, fitness and participating in our fitness classes offered free of charge. To support your interests, we offered free access to three fitness classes and three Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) classes per week. Disappointingly, after the initial two weeks, your enthusiasm waned, and despite one of our instructor's personal offer to accompany you one day to the gym for additional training, this opportunity was not embraced with the seriousness and commitment it warranted. Instead, this session was not utilized as intended, with reports of you treating this time less as a learning opportunity and more as a time to "mess around".This lack of engagement in the fitness and nutritional aspects of our program was concerning, particularly given your stated objectives and the resources made available to you. Our program prides itself on fostering a proactive and engaged learning environment. We encourage all volunteers to take full advantage of the opportunities provided to enrich their understanding and practice of healthy living.

Regarding your dietary habits, it is important to clarify that our feedback/advice given to you was in line with the principles of our Fitness and Nutrition establishment, aiming to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The excessive consumption of food, beyond the provisions of three meals a day (clearly stated on our profile and discuss on a call), strained our resources and was not in keeping with the shared nature of our program. It was hoped that our guidance would be received with an understanding of the intent to maintain the health and sustainability of our community.

In conclusion, while we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, it is imperative for the success of our program and the satisfaction of all involved that each volunteer fully embraces their role and the community standards. We take this opportunity to reflect on and improve our program, ensuring future volunteers have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and the values we hold dear.

We wish you well in your future endeavors.

My time volunteering in Spain with a warm family was incredible. From cultural immersion and practical training to thrilling motorcycle rides, every moment was a perfect blend of learning and excitement. The family's hospitality made me feel at home🫶, and the unexpected motorcycle adventures added an unforgettable thrill. Highly recommend for a unique and enriching experience! 🤩

A Remarkable experience with Lilian: An Exceptional Volunteer

Our experience hosting Lilan for the past 3 months has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment she joined our team, Lilan's infectious enthusiasm and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact were evident.

Lilan seamlessly integrated into our community, quickly becoming an invaluable team player. Her willingness to take on any task, coupled with her proactive approach, significantly contributed to the smooth operation of our organization. Whether it was working with the team or engaging with the children, she consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for making a difference.

One of Lilan's standout qualities was her incredible rapport with children. Her natural ability to connect with them created an atmosphere of joy and laughter. The kids absolutely adored her, and it was heartwarming to witness the genuine connections she formed. What's truly remarkable is Lilan's journey from having zero Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills to now not only helping the kids in classes but also becoming an avid enthusiast herself. Her love for learning BJJ is evident in her dedication to participating in all available adult classes. Her commitment to personal growth and sharing her newfound skills have not only inspired the kids but have also added a dynamic element to our programs.

In addition to her outstanding work with children, Lilan displayed an impressive commitment to personal growth. Her time spent in the gym showcased her dedication to honing her skills as a fitness trainer. Not only did she actively seek opportunities to enhance her knowledge, but she also shared her newfound expertise with others, fostering a collaborative learning environment within the organization.

Our family time with Lilan was nothing short of incredible. Her positive energy and easygoing nature made every moment enjoyable. Whether it was sharing meals, participating in activities, or simply enjoying downtime, Lilan added a special touch that enhanced our overall experience.

We are immensely grateful for the 3 months we spent with Lilan, and her contributions have left an indelible mark on our organization and our lives. It brings us great joy to share that Lilan will be returning in just three weeks. We are excitedly anticipating her return, and we wholeheartedly look forward to continuing this remarkable journey together. Lilan has become not just a valued member of our team but an integral part of our extended family. We wholeheartedly recommend Lilan to any organization or community fortunate enough to have her as part of their team.

It is a very active lifestyle. There is a lot to do, but it's fun together with the other volunteers. Even in the short time that I had, I learned so much new, about training and nutrition. I even got help clearing up my skin. I loved my time working with the kids and enjoyed learning bjj. The family and kids are great and understanding. Perfect place if you are very social, enjoy training and don't mind spending all your time together with people.

Amazing. That's how I would describe my experience at the Titan the school. They are such a lovely and caring family, who make you feel instantly welcome and a part of their family. I had so much fun working at the kids camp and also learned so much about training, nutrition, the school and interacting with the kids. I also fell the love with BJJ, an incredible sport, and plan to continue it back home. Thank you for everything! Im already missing the whole family, the kids and of course the doggies, even Luca ;) Hope to back next summer!
