Working at the hostel was an great experience. Everyone in the team (especially the supervisor Mateo) was absolutely amazing. The parties were super cool, the area is perfect and the work is good. It's not super advertised but you get free meals included in your stay as well as a discount on other things which is a huge bonus. While here I got to practice my Spanish, met alot of cool travellers and understand Colombian culture even more. I would definitely recommend.

I spent 1 month at the hostel and I can safely say it was the best month of my life so far! My first day there just so happened to be my birthday and my first away from my home but everyone made me feel so welcome and made the day really special. Mateo was an incredible boss and above all is a great friend, he was there for anything myself and the other volunteers needed. The permanent staff at the hostel were also great with all the volunteers and it was really fun to spend time with locals and get to know them. Everyone from the bar staff to the security guards were amazing!

The volunteer dorm was uninhabitable—damp and mouldy. My bag grew mould in a week. Showers and toilets were dirty. Being vegetarian was inconvenient, and if you forget to say you'll be present, you're charged for meals. Yoga teachers should know this is a party hostel with no yoga community. Most staff are nice, but Spanish helps. I spoke to my manager twice and also to other managers about the conditions—nothing changed. Paco, the volunteer manager, brushed off concerns and told me I was lucky. After two weeks, I left early. Only after two volunteers left early, they improved the dorms.

It was a good experience. The hostel is super cool, food is decent, and there is a lot to do around the area. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good fit for me, so I ended up leaving earlier. It was a very personal choice, so I don't blame the host for my decision. The room for volunteers could be improved, but before I left, I was told they were working on it. Aside from that, I believe it can be a great experience for the majority of people, it just wasn't a good fit for me, but that's okay. Met some amazing people there, so I don't regret it at all. If you like beach and parties, go for it!

Generally an amazing place to volunteer. Real carribian experiance, great people and great guests. You will definitely enjoy your time. For me, the dorm room needs some work to be comfortable for the volunteers but its enough for just sleeping there in the night. Unfortunately, there was a little misunderstanding at the end, which caused an unforeseen end to my time, which was not communicated well.

I cannot recommend this experience enough! From the location (right on the beach), all of the amazing guests, the different activities to most importantly the staff I can guarantee that you will have the time of your life. the hostel is a magical place and I will forever hold it in my heart. From the first day Mateo made me feel at home and all of the volunteers welcomed me with open arms. Mateo would always make sure that you feel at home. All of the staff members are exceptional and treat you as part of their family. Mateo thank you so much for allowing me to be part of this amazing team!

The experience was amazing! The hostel staff will treat you really nice and make you feel at home. The place is awesome with a lot of stuff to do (hammocks, yoga, surf, beach, pool). The food is really good as well but not that many options for volunteers (free food). The best part about this place is that you have so much to do around here in your free days, like going to Minca, Palomino, Tayrona Parque. There are also a lot of parties and events in the hostels around and also on this on on fridays, so if you like to party and dance, you are going to love it. I recommend 100%!
