My time at the hostel has been and still going great. I've really enjoyed the company of the staff who are very committed to the hostel's schedule and all the tasks around the hostel. The vibe is very healthy as smoking is not allowed inside the hostel and I also appreciate all the extra activities they offer. The location is privileged just a few minutes walk from the beach.

I was 7 weeks in Medan the hostel. I should have stayed there only 4 weeks, but i extended as much as i could. It was an incredible experience, soon i became part of the little warm family of medano, the atmosphere of the hostel is amazing and Alessandro is a great manager. He listens to you, helps you and he is great at managing every situation that may occur. You need to of course adapt to the hostel life, but it's all worth it! I would recommend this experience to anyone, it will enrich you in every possible way, this is at least what happened to me. Forever grateful to have done it!

A hostel that makes you feel like a part of the family with a great location and a pool. It's a good place to practice Spanish, but it can be harder to connect with others if you don't speak Spanish yet. The work is manageable, and the host is very understanding, supportive, and flexible when it comes to changing hours. The overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it well suited for people who enjoy a relaxed, close-knit environment. I would definitely recommend this opportunity to others

It was my first experience and it couldn't have gone better! the hostel where I stayed is a large hostel with lots of people, so you can't get bored and you can learn a lot about different cultures. I was immediately welcomed by the volunteers and managers. If you have any questions or requests they are always ready to help you in a friendly manner. The job also allows you to have a lot of free time, and they are very accommodating to your needs, they give you the opportunity to discover new places or also relax on the nearby beaches. The experience at Medano the hostel was one full of experiences, mostly good ones, but nothing in life is perfect. Alessandro is an amazing manager and an even more amazing human being. The hostel is nice, in a good, chill area, El Médano is an amazing beach town that has everything. I created many friendships here and I would recommend this experience to anyone. This was my first Worldpackers experience and I had such a fun and amazing time. Everyone was so fun kind and welcoming and it was a great place to meet new people. The hostel was also in a really good location so you can go to the beach or explore whenever you're not working. The work was also very flexible.

It was my first volunteer experience. From the first day I felt part of a family and I got very attached with all the volunteers. The work shifts have been respected and flexible. Honestly I couldn't have asked for better, everything was beautiful. Grazie mille the hostel! ❤️

I spent 5 wonderful weeks volunteering at the hostel doing night shifts at reception. The schedule was flexible, and coordination with my colleague worked perfectly. I had lots of time to explore the island. The atmosphere was always positive, and the team was super helpful. I got great tips for trips, and the hostel's organized activities were amazing. You meet international guests and volunteers – and can make lifelong friends. Highly recommended!

Volunteering at the hostel was amazing! Great location, close to beaches and transport. Tasks are simple, schedule is flexible, and the hostel has awesome facilities like a pool, jacuzzi, and coworking space. I had a great time in Ashavana Hostel, meeting many special people during my stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful all the time. The hostel is really well located in Medano, 1min from the beach, and with some nice hiking around, and many activities like walkings, ping-pong, poker, football, volleyball…
