The experience

The children here come from extreme poverty and some have never been to school before. We welcome you as a member of our project and thank you very much for giving your time, knowledge and experience to teach English to these children .

We also need help to create video content for social media and help us generated fundraising ideas.
Your decision to volunteer at our project is the hope that these Cambodian children.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 18 Per day

Fee pays for: Donation to project

Description: We ask volunteers to contribute $18 per person per day for a private room, free WiFi, and use of all facilities, including the pool. These funds are vital to support the home and school—providing food, clothing, transport and school materials for the children. We aim to make you feel part of the Aspire family and ensure you enjoy your stay. Additional costs: Pickup $5 (Siem Reap) or $25 (airport); Meals $10/day for 3 home-cooked meals.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 70 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Cambodia

Program Details

The schedule program work is 5 days or 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday on the morning at ( 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM) and afternoon at 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM), 2 days off (Saturday & Sunday) is free time to discover beautiful Siem Reap.

Activities & Shift


The Volunteer activities with our staffs local Khmer English teacher:

- To teach English (read, write and conversation), play games, conversational interaction
- Helping with continuing construction of school buildings (lay brick & pouring concrete etc. Optional based on ability)
- To help grow vegetables, gardening and cleaning environment
- A guided tour to local market using Tuk Tuk on site
- To see sunset behind Aspire Home Stay
- Trip to country side, meeting extremely poor families of children in the community
- Watching traditional Khmer dance performances, shown by the children of Aspire
- To provide a certificate of appreciation
- Other excursions to Angkor Wat, Floating Village, Pub St etc available for small fee with local tour guide

Rules
