I couldn't have asked for a better location. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, the working hours were very easy, and having free accommodation and meals was a huge bonus. I truly loved my experience here and would absolutely do it again.

Very nice volunteering experience. The moderate working hours give you the opportunity to explore the city and its surroundings, and also to go out with the other volunteers. The atmosphere is very warm, very nice managers, always available and kind. Another aspect was the position, very nice area and very central, I could move walking through the city in the most of the times, and is also well connected with the transports. Overall great experience and I hope to come back soon, I had a really good time.

My experience at Halperin House was amazing. I felt super comfortable. Tasks were easy—cleaning common areas (kitchen, corridors, showers,, and toilets) and sometimes preparing beds. We were 12–14 volunteers, grouped in rooms of three, and the shifts were very flexible. The food was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. Mederic, the manager, was very kind; Rasba, the supervisor, was super chill. And Jony, my favorite, made me laugh every day. I totally recommend it! Thanks for all!

I would totally recommend this volunteering experience. The hostel's location is excellent, well-connected to public transportation, and close to parks and museums. The tasks are simple, the schedule is flexible, and everyone is willing to help you. My only suggestion would be to consider a different way to manage the food and the possibility of having two days off instead of one, to be able to explore outside of London. I recommend it and would do it again!

I loved everything about my stay in London. The workload is not to much and it's definitely doable in time. The location of the hostel is amazing, really centred and with many bus stops and tube stations nearby. The experience helped me learn english and to be more confident in it, and what's better, I made some lifelong friends among the volunteers, which I'll always cherish and hopefully keep in touch with. Overall, it was a pleasure to get to know and work with all the staff members and the volunteers I met. I'd be glad to come back someday!

It was a great experience volunteering in the hostel. The employees and volunteers were all very friendly and helpful. The Guesthouse is located in a very beautiful neighborhood in Central London with a metro station nearby. The cleaning tasks were all pretty easy and I usually finished earlier. Also the bought groceries were fine, but sometimes we were running out of food in the last 1-2 days.

It was amazing. I felt very welcomed by the manager and other volunteers. It is great that they have both long term and short term volunteers staying there. Long term volunteers were welcoming and sharing lots of great tips. Thank you for everything!

Since it is located in central London, there is great access to transportation (two tube stations and several bus stops), as well as markets, pharmacies, and even pubs. Regarding the hostel staff, I will always be grateful to Mederic, who teaches with patience and a great sense of humor (I will never forget Channel No. 5). Plus, the tasks were easy to understand and smooth—just three hours a day, and if you finish early, you're free to stop.T he volunteers were amazing, but I must give a special mention to Sol and Nora, who brightened my cloudy days and helped me in the hunt for One Direction.
