My experience at the hostel was great. The tasks are easy and clear, the place is big with nice common areas and a lot of people from all over the world. I had plenty of time to explore Jerusalem and also go to Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea and more. The breakfast is delicious and the staff very friendly. I definitely recommend it :)

Our experience was great in the hostel. Most of the staff /managers was nice. The hostel has a good structure for volunteers and guests. The work is not hard and we did excalcly 5 h per day and two days off per week as we agreed before. The breakfast was at 11:15 AM when we could serve ourselves after guestes. The Hostel location is good you can get to the old town 20 minutes by foot. In resume we recommend this option for volunteers in Jerusalem.

It was my first hostel experience. First of all the location of the hostel is very good, close to the old town and ben yehuda market. You can socialize with other volunteers, hotel management and people staying at the hostel. They may ask you to go to the hostel in Eilat for 1 week, I learned this 3 days after I arrived in jerusalem. It was not pleasant, I explained the situation to the hotel management and did not go. Shifts are generally not tiring, sometimes the morning shift can be tiring because of breakfast, but 90% is easy. Thank you for everything <3

I had a great time at the hostel! The volunteer position provides you with an opportunity to get to know many locals as well as visitors and other volunteers from all around the world. The staff is also very friendly! The only struggles I had with this position revolved around some miscommunication. I was originally told that volunteering here I would be required to work five days a week and that working in Eilat was optional. However now they are requiring you to work 6 days a week and working in Eilat is required.

The place is great with comfortable beds and easy access to the old town. The tasks are not complicated and you even have the possibility to the hostel a week in Eilat, on the border with Egypt and Jordan, for volunteering. The only thing I have to say negatively about the place is that we had a problem with breakfast, but the issue was solved. Anyway, the place is a great space for socializing and the people who work there are nice. The former manager of the volunteers, Oscar, has always been friendly and concerned about our well-being, in addition, the reception and breakfast staff are super nice.

Working at StayInn was a great experience! The work is straightforward, the managers and staff are super welcoming, and the hotel itself is in the city center, only a short walk away from everything you want to do/see in Jerusalem. Overall, StayInn is worth it, and a perfect way to experience the holy city! :)

I had a really great time in Jerusalem & hanging with the other volunteers, & all of the work required is pretty easy. That said, the work environment itself was only ok. The management didn't seem to agree with eachother & they were disorganized. On several occasions our work schedules weren't made on time and my hours were shifted day of more than once. The staff dorm had quite a few issues as well (like usb ports not working, bed curtains missing). However, working in Eilat was AMAZING because Pavel & his team were so kind, welcoming, and the private apartment was delightful.

I loved my time at the hostel, it was my first time volunteering and I would recommend you to come and have the experience too. Tasks were easy and shifts weren't that busy most of the time. They respect your free days and free time. However there are some things that can be better. The volunteers room's heating didn't work during my entire the hostel and it was very cold. Also the sink would get clogged often. Keep in mind that the other volunteers and you will have to clean your own room. Another relevant thing to mention is that you must go to Eilat to the hostel there to volunteer for a week.

I had a great time at StayInn Jerusalem and I really recommend it. The work was most of the time easy and most of the staff members were really nice. The ambience at the hostel is great. However, if you want to volunteer here you should know that they will send you a week to volunteer in Eilat (some volunteers were not informed about this until the arrived to the hostel). Also, there were some issues with the room (for example the heating didn't work the entire time I was there). Finally, keep in mind that cleaning the volunteers room is the volunteers responsibility.

I truly enjoyed my time at the hostel and look back on it super fondly. The staff is all so kind and welcoming and I was very fortunate to be there with other great volunteers. I would say to other travelers who are interested that the hostel is much more of a hotel than a hostel.Towards the end however, due to being short on volunteers, my hours were changed and I was given 4 hours a day 6 days a week which is not the agreed upon schedule. I did not make much of a complaint about this but I would of appreciated some more respect to the agreed upon hours.
