The experience

Our project is a school and home for poor, homeless and orphaned children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. Our school is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. We are providing 24 hours care for 20 children, supporting food, shelter, education and protection. Located 7km to the south of central Siem Reap City on National road 6 at Trang Village.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 18 Per day

Description: We need help from our volunteers, teaching English to children and sharing videos from your time here on social media. We ask a volunteer to contribute $18 per day for private, air conditioned room. You will feel warm as a member of our family and enjoy the children here. Extras: - Food 3 meals $10 US per day (breakfast, lunch & dinner) - Swimming pool $10 US per week - Pick up fee - $5 from Siem Reap and $ 25 from the airport.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Beginner English or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Cambodia

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

The schedule program, 5 days per week from Monday to Friday on the morning at (8:00 AM - 10:00 AM) and afternoon at (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Activities & Shift

The activities work to teach English language, computer skills training courses, building school, toilet and equipment, painting school's walls, cutting grasses, planting vegetables and tree fruits,...etc.

Rules

The rules of Aspire school, we are required the volunteers are arrived:
- Copy passport with visa
- To fill of volunteer application form
- Respect of child protection policy
- Wearing of teacher uniform ( have selling at Aspire)
- ID-card member as a volunteer teacher
