The experience

The children here come from extreme poverty and some have never been to school before. We welcome you as a member of our project and thank you very much for giving your time, knowledge and experience to teach English to these children .

We also need help to create video content for social media and help us generated fundraising ideas.
Your decision to volunteer at our project is the hope that these Cambodian children.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 15 Per day

Description: We ask volunteers to contribute $15 pp/day for a twin/double room with friends/family, free WiFi, and use of facilities such as pool. These funds are vital to support the home and school—providing food, clothing, transport and school materials for the children. We aim to make you feel part of the Aspire family and ensure you enjoy your stay. Additional costs: Pickup $5 (Siem Reap) or $25 (airport); Meals $10/day for 3 home-cooked meals.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Be from outside Cambodia

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

The schedule program, 5 days per week from Monday to Friday on the morning at (8:00 AM - 10:00 AM) and afternoon at (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Activities & Shift

The activities include teaching English, computer skills, mentoring, building school, general DIY tasks, gardening, sports activities, teaching kids to swim.

Rules

The rules of Aspire school, we are required the volunteers are arrived:
- Copy passport with visa
- To fill of volunteer application form
- Respect of child protection policy
- Wearing of teacher uniform ( have selling at Aspire)
- ID-card member as a volunteer teacher
