An unforgettable experience! I highly recommend this opportunity without hesitation. It's by far the best and most sociable hostel I've stayed at on my entire trip. The atmosphere is incredible—cozy and full of travelers from around the world. The staff is amazing, and I had a great time with Marko, Kris, Wouter, Lili, Brenna, and Freya. The volunteer work is fun and offers plenty of guest interaction. Gjirokastër is a beautiful the hostel with a unique charm, rich history, and lots to do. Thank you for this amazing experience!

Volunteering at the hostel was an experience I'll remember forever! Wouter and Brenna are so kind and go above and beyond to make sure volunteers and guests have a wonderful experience. Wouter has endless information to share to you about beautiful Gjirokaster and Brenna makes the most delicious food, especially the cake. This was my first volunteer experience through worldpackers and I am so lucky for it to have been this one. Just as so many guests had said while I was volunteering, the hostel is the nicest hostel I've ever been too. Thank you so much for the best month ❤️

The hostel is a wonderful place and I had a great time volunteering there. The hosts as well as the guests were so nice, and it felt easy talking to new people all the time. The work is pretty straightforward and Gjirokastër is absolutely stunning. Would recommend:)

Best two months ever! Thank you so much Walter and Brenna for making me feel so at home and have the best time ever, all the local staff are the friendliest people you can ever meet I've genuinely made friends for life! The work is super chill and the hostel is so well organised, Walter has done an amazing job in creating the perfect hostel and the best hostel volunteer experience possible! By far my favourite volunteering experience I had by far! Woulter and Brenna were so welcoming, and took very good care of us from providing us with fresh groceries and letting us come on an off road trip with them. The work is very straight forward and there's a lot to keep you occupied here in Gjirokaster. Woulter and Brenna are very invested in the hostel and the guests and connects with every single person. If you have the opportunity to either volunteer or even just visit here, please do it!! Best hostel I've experienced! Woulter, Brenna, Kristina, Marlo and Claudio, Thank you!

I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel! Walter and Brenna are great hosts and incredibly helpful. They are also very welcoming, they really make you feel at home. The work is very straightforward and easy and it is a great social environment with a good amount of down time. The local staff are so kind. It was my first World Packers experience and it was definitely amazing, I would 100% recommend.

This was honestly the best worldpackers I've ever done! The owners of the hostel are super fun and nice the work is really easy and fun. Your hours are planned and leave more then enough room to explore the beautiful the hostel of Gjirokaster and it's surroundings I highly recommend it!

I don't recommend this at all… is so perfect that anything after this it's not gonna be good enough. Brenna and Wouter are the best!! The make you feel really welcomed, the staff is also super nice, basically at the end it feels like been whit a family. Also the vibes in general of the hostal and the place make a perfect place for long term stays. Whit out a doubt the best decision that I could take to da volunteering here.

Best hosts I've ever had! The hostel itself is amazing, super clean and comfortable, the staff is incredible, specially the hosts Brenna and Wouter. Breakfast is free, they cook dinner 3 times a week and they give ingredients to cook the other meals. The work is basically check ins and keeping the place in order, and the hours are great as well, you have plenty of time to explore the hostel and the 2 free days give you enough time to go to other cities. Gjirokaster is a dreeeam, you can do everything walking and there is so much nature to explore. A place to feel home away from home <3
