I had a great experience volunteering at the hostel! Walter and Brenna are great hosts and incredibly helpful. They are also very welcoming, they really make you feel at home. The work is very straightforward and easy and it is a great social environment with a good amount of down time. The local staff are so kind. It was my first World Packers experience and it was definitely amazing, I would 100% recommend.

This was honestly the best worldpackers I've ever done! The owners of the hostel are super fun and nice the work is really easy and fun. Your hours are planned and leave more then enough room to explore the beautiful the hostel of Gjirokaster and it's surroundings I highly recommend it!

I don't recommend this at all… is so perfect that anything after this it's not gonna be good enough. Brenna and Wouter are the best!! The make you feel really welcomed, the staff is also super nice, basically at the end it feels like been whit a family. Also the vibes in general of the hostal and the place make a perfect place for long term stays. Whit out a doubt the best decision that I could take to da volunteering here.

Best hosts I've ever had! The hostel itself is amazing, super clean and comfortable, the staff is incredible, specially the hosts Brenna and Wouter. Breakfast is free, they cook dinner 3 times a week and they give ingredients to cook the other meals. The work is basically check ins and keeping the place in order, and the hours are great as well, you have plenty of time to explore the hostel and the 2 free days give you enough time to go to other cities. Gjirokaster is a dreeeam, you can do everything walking and there is so much nature to explore. A place to feel home away from home <3

I could not have had a better experience. The hostel itself is beautiful in every way. I felt at home immediately. The staff that work there are welcoming, understanding, and amazing. The owners are absolutely wonderful too! They're flexible, they include you in everything, they treat you amazing and help out when/if you need it. I even joined them on a hike and an off-roading trip while I was there! They also feed you the most amazing food!! This place is truly a gem. I loved EVERY SECOND of being there, and I'm already planning on going back next year!

El lugar está excelente..y me la pasé genial.. pero independientemente de eso ...Solo dure un día. Solo diré que me tomé muy enserio el papel de interactuar con los huéspedes.. tanto que deje mi turno..lo que ocasionó que el dueño .me dijera que no me quería en el Lugar... no lo tome personal..solo creo que debería de haber algún tipo de seguro o respaldo por parte de la aplicación...yo por suerte tengo dónde quedarme... pero imaginó si esto le dijeran a alguien más... que viajo desde el otro lado del mundo....pues su voluntariado se convertiría en una pesadilla..

Unfortunately Ramses was not interested in working. We gave him a few shifts to see if things would improve (after telling him our concerns) but he refused to do tasks and instead was only drinking.
